5.0 out of 5 stars Great for quick touch up
My gray hairs around the temples tend to defy hair dyes and lose color only after about two weeks. While I don’t really mind having grays, there are occasions when I do want to cover them up without having to go to the hair salon or use dyes that require shampooing. This dark brown root touch up matched my dark brown hair very well and is easy to apply using the included brush. I did have to layer it on to achieve the desired color. While I only use it on my hair and not the scalp, I did find out by accident that it does color your skin as well so it might help those with thinning hair.My biggest concern was having a “Giuliani-type” accident of having the dye melt into a brown sludge over your face, so I tried wetting my hair after I applied to see if it will run off. Fortunately, it did not. Granted, I only cover a tiny portion of my hair and water is not the same as perspiration. But it’s not like I was going to use this while working out. Also, when I accidentally got some on my skin, I had to rub it off with a wet q-tip to remove.I also tried wiping it off with a white paper towel to see if it will rub off. It did not. But it did rub off when I wet it with water.Overall, I am happy with this root touch up. It is great for last minute color after I’ve styled my hair.
5.0 out of 5 stars Does a Nice Job Hiding My Gray Roots
I've used similar root touch up products for a few months, and they tap on easily and stay put for a day/evening. I haven't seen any remnants on my pillowcases, and it washes out without any trouble.I ordered this in blond, and I consider it my fault that the color doesn't go with the rest of my hair. Just like the photo in the Bolo ad, it's sort of mustard-color. I should probably gone with Dark Blond, but since that's not the manufacturer's fault, I'm giving this 5 stars.Note: I don't know how will this would work on a beard, since there would be more hand contact, cheek contact on a date, and more area for pillowcase contact.
4.0 out of 5 stars Versatile and durable backpack with great storage, minor zipper issues.
The Matein Travel Laptop Backpack is a versatile and durable choice for anyone needing a reliable bag for work, school, or travel. The multiple compartments and pockets make it easy to organize all your essentials, from laptops to smaller accessories. The USB charging port is a convenient feature, allowing you to charge your devices on the go. The backpack is also comfortable to wear, thanks to its padded shoulder straps and back panel, which provide excellent support even during long periods of use. However, I did encounter some minor issues with the zippers. They occasionally get stuck, which can be frustrating when you’re in a hurry. Despite this, the overall quality and functionality of the backpack make it a great investment. The water-resistant material and sturdy construction ensure that your belongings stay safe and dry, making this backpack a reliable companion for various activities.
5.0 out of 5 stars This is great.
When you don't have time to dye your hair or get to the salon, this is great. You can put just enough to make it blend even if it's not your exact color. I like to dab it on and then softly brush my hair with my fingers and even though it's not the exact color it looks a lot better than the contrast of blonde and dark brown. It's small enough to fit in your purse it even has a little mirror. I also like the fact that you can travel with it very easily.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great coverage
I like the compact size of this touch up powder. Everything I need is in this one small kit. The gray touch up powder I received feels finely milled and goes on nice and smooth. My favorite tool is the puff. With root touch up powder, I use a light dusting, so it looks more natural. The gray looks very dark in the compact but lightens when applied. Good stuff. I also use a short, bristled brush and apply it on my eyebrows.
3.0 out of 5 stars Works ok to cover grey roots with henna dyed hair
I dye my long grey hair with henna. Grey roots start showing after about a week. This stuff is an ok match for my henna red hair. It hides my grey roots fairly well as long as you don't look too closely and notice the auburn powder. So I only have to dye my roots every couple of weeks. The powder is not sticky and washes out well. The spongy applicator is a bit too wide, and the brush is a bit too fine. I ended up using a brush from one of my make-up products.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great
Powder brushes on. It definitely helps hide the greys in between coloring. Love this product
4.0 out of 5 stars Provides good coverage and stays put
This product worked well but was not exactly what I expected. I had thought this was the powder & fibers that make your balding spots look less balding, but instead it's a powder that touches up the color of your hair (just like it says but I read it wrong). The container is tiny, but I found that a little bit of this powder goes a long way. The bottom of the container twists off to give you a small pad to use as an applicator. The top of the container has a small mirror (of limited use) and access to the powder. Using the powder is simple - just touch the pad to the powder and apply to your roots. I was very pleasantly surprised how quickly the coverage happens. It blends immediately and smoothly. I was wearing a white t-shirt when applying and there was no spillover or specs of powder on it, so it really grips your hair very well. The gray color on this was a bit too dark for my more-white gray hair, but it did work extremely well. It also stayed put on my hair until washing it out, even while I sweated and touched my hair throughout the day. I don't dye my hair and wouldn't use this to fully cover my hair, so this wasn't the perfect product for me, but I would highly recommend it to anyone that has a darker shade of gray and needs to cover up lighter roots.
