I needed to remove the old gas since I forgot last fall. I took this opportunity to try the unit on both the tractor and my snow blower. It's extremely simple to use. Just pop the batteries in, put the shorter tube in the fuel source and clip the long or two into the receiving gas can. Turn the power on and the system does the rest. For both machines, after the initial batch of gas was drawn, I did have to move the hose around a bit to find remaining gas still in the tank. Nothing complicated. The system is so lightweight and basic that I'm surprised at how effective it was. That said, it was very much worth the opportunity to review.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice little transfer pump
So far this has worked well.It includes adapters for different tanks and was simple to use.Battery life is decent. It ran for ~50 minutes of transfer water back to itself in a bucket. before shutting off. It transferred 5 gallons in about 2 minutes. It does slow down a bit over time but was pretty consistent with the flow.It included a plastic bag for storage but won't be used since it is too small.Overall, this is a good pump to have around. I use it to transfer gas from 5 gallon cans to my old truck that doesn't get ran a lot.
5.0 out of 5 stars Makes filling tractors and other yard implements much easier!
These are a godsend! I have back issues and arthritis, so lifting a 5 gallon gas can and holding the tricky safety releases the various manufacturers have developed is difficult for me. This pumps at least as fast and just pouring it in, and it is much easier to control, so you are not only less likely to strain your (my!) back, but far less likely to spill given the auto shutoff. It is worth every penny!
5.0 out of 5 stars Good lift.
Used only once so far. It was able to pump gas from a can sitting on the floor into my jeep wrangler, so it has good lift. My old pump needed the gas can pretty much level with the gas fill
5.0 out of 5 stars Works good! 👍
This battery-powered fuel transfer pump made refueling a breeze—no spills, no hassle. It moves liquid at a solid 2.4 gallons per minute, and the auto shut-off feature helps prevent overflows. The three included adapters make it versatile for different tanks, and it works well with gas, diesel, kerosene, and even water. Just keep extra batteries on hand if you’re using it frequently. Whether you're topping off equipment or handling small fuel transfers, this pump gets the job done smoothly.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good, battery operated pump
Does the job it was made for. I like the flow.
