5.0 out of 5 stars Great product!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I was skeptical when I read some of the previous reviews , but I am extremely happy with the product. The shelf is perfect although it took a lot of time to assemble. The instructions were detailed and every screw and board fit great. This cabinet and shelf is sturdy and high quality in my opinion. Definitely recommend!
5.0 out of 5 stars Cheap and cheerful
I needed an inexpensive file storage solution and given the extremely low Black Friday price of this, my expectations were pretty low. Very happy to report that this item exceeded my expectations. It's not exactly heirloom quality, but is surprisingly sturdy and well made. Assembly was relatively straightforward - it took my just over an hour to put everything together, and once i did all the edges and drawers lined up perfectly, which is always a risk with this kind of flat pack furniture. And it looks good too!
4.0 out of 5 stars Assembly issues
Overall it is sturdy and looks nice. It serves the purpose well as a file cabinet with extra drawers and shelves for storage. It took me a long time to put this together. It has cam lock fasteners which I HATE. I bought a desk from Sedeta and it had no cam lock fasteners. My main gripe is they give you a screwdriver which most everyone already has but they don't give you anything but small allen wrenches for the other fasteners that aren't phillips head. The instructions show to use the screwdriver and a drill. The allen wrenches they give you are not compatible with a drill. Furthermore, there are 2 different size allen screws. One is 5/32 which is the most common size allen head. I have a t handle that size so no problem there. The other size is 3mm. Nobody has a 3mm t handle. I tried to hacksaw the 90 degree bend off of it so I could stick it in my cordless drill but it is hardened so I couldn't even make a dent in it. Very frustrating. I ended up using a metric fold out set of allen wrenches and turned and turned and turned the long screws until I aggravated my carpal tunnel. Ridiculous! They could have included some sort of cheap 3 mm allen attachment that you could put into a drill. To top it off, the included screwdriver started shedding green residue all over the place. It is some sort of cheap grip they put on the screwdriver handle that just disintegrated after the first 2 screws. Not impressed with the assembly and included tools/fasteners. I should give it less stars but overall it is a decent piece of furniture for the money. One last note, the letter stickers are super hard to remove and require goo gone to completely remove them.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great, compact design
Needed some filing space for a small apartment project and wanted some added shelves to display objects that would draw the eye upward. I placed an Epson 7100 on top of the cabinet and this worked perfectly. There is enough room to place a paper on the copy glass. Handyman said it was easy but time-consuming to assemble.
1.0 out of 5 stars Difficult to assemble
Nice looking cabinet with shelves but very difficult to assemble because the instructions (pictures) were not clear. The bottom file cabinet drawer falls out when pulled open all the way. Only installed one smaller drawer because the two together don't fit in the cabinet space with the file drawer.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great file cabinet and printer stand
This file cabinet/shelf fit perfect in the space next to my standing desk. It was easy to put together and looks amazing!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Would 100% but again
I like it! Seems to be around ikea quality. Kinda wish it was around $45-$50 but still worth it. I’m not using the wheels on mine so I’m not sure how good those are. Might buy another one eventually! Only bad thing I can really say is fingerprints show pretty easily but that happens on most black painted wood surfaces
3.0 out of 5 stars Not great.
This file cabinet looks fine, but there were issues with assembly. The right side panel was incorrectly drilled. The dowel holes were too large and the holes for the locking cam screws were too small. My wife went to Home Depot to buy a 5/16" dowel that I had to cut to fill and glue the large holes. I had special thin super glue (with a micro adapter) to run down the sides of the dowels while in place. I drilled my glued dowels to accommodate their dowels. I drilled the small holes larger to accommodate the locking cam screws.I feel like I should have replaced the short screws used on the roller brackets attached to the bottom the the drawers with 1" screws. I can see those falling out in the near future. It looks fine and functions for now. It was a pain, but I guess I got what I paid for!
Pareille comme sur l'image
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } J'ai ete très surprise de la qualité pour le prix payer. Bien expliqué pour le montage et au final de toute beauté. Très heureuse de mon achat.
Great buy
assembly was easy, what I really liked is for the back piece, which is just a thin board they provide screws instead of those useless nails which always come loose, so thankfully the back board isn't going to "fall off" if you move it. It is really nice, and sturdy, holds my all in one printer, and some books. Downside, its a little smaller than I thought it would be...but its not a deal breaker.
Nice looking, solid and easy to assemble
Very happy with this cabinet, I'm using it for my printer. No missing parts, assembly documentation was well describe, took about 1 hour to assemble. All pieces fits well into places. It's a solid and well built cabinet.
Would definitely recommended!
Pros:Well designedComes with the tools requiredCustomizable shelf heightSturdy and not flimsyCons:Take an effort to put together (couple hours)Tools that come with it work, but tiresome to work withConclusion:I would recommend this to anyone who wants to utilize vertical space in their household. It's good looking, stands sturdy and does not take up much space.
