5.0 out of 5 stars Works well and a good replacement for Trex screws
They cost a lot less than comparable Trex screws and work well. In some cases they are better than Trex, in others not as good (see below).Pros of these screws:Much lower costThe screws don't break like Trex seems toCons of these screws (over Trex):The heads strip too easily and only two bits in a large box, which is insufficient. The screws stick out of the plastic holder just enough that I frequently can't put the piece in place on the deck board without unscrewing the screw some (not a big deal, but a hassle).
5.0 out of 5 stars Best value
Did the job at a great discount from big box stores
4.0 out of 5 stars Good fasteners but better deals exist
The media could not be loaded. I’m currently evaluating different types of composite decking and various generic fasteners to find the best combination for the best value to restore a large deck this season. These clips are generally good quality, but they are identical to the Cozivie brand you can also buy on Bolo, but Cozivie gives you 100 more fasteners, adds 20 end clips, and comes in at three dollars cheaper, so know that.Anyway, these Gyykzz clips are durable and the pre-threaded screws makes them immensely more functional (especially one-handed) when installing.Although billed as generic/universal, they work well on Trex and Armadillo, but do not work on Deckorators brand of decking. Incidentally, that brand is always an oddball. They install easily with the included bits (hex). They screws are a bit soft (like a lot of stainless fasteners), but if you take your time, they go in just fine.I noticed the resulting gap between boards is a smidge larger than Teck brand fasteners, but they still look good (basically disappeared), and that fact didn’t bother me or affect my rating.
5.0 out of 5 stars SWEET!
Local big box gets $150 for 200 count .These work as good if not better 16x16 deck not one screw broke or stripped during installation.Great economics with this one
1.0 out of 5 stars Not good
Don’t waste your time. The screws strip way too easy.
3.0 out of 5 stars They work but..
Plastic clips are the same as Trex, but the screws are low grade.
5.0 out of 5 stars Slim design fits nice in grooves
easy to use and fit perfect in the grooves of the composite boards. The screws are stronger than lowes bracket screws, I didnt have any of them break during my install.
2.0 out of 5 stars Cheap
Cheap plastic material clip splits and the screws are not stainless but some type of soft metal like aluminum. Screws break off before clip gets seated. Figured I would try them but spend the extra money and buy the Trex brand. Also new chemicals used is pressure treated wood will corrode aluminum screws need to use stainless.
