4.0 out of 5 stars Good BUT....
It doesn't cool much, the phone lacks power. The EXTRAS it comes with and the metal base is very good.
5.0 out of 5 stars Long story short: works great for the price
I ignorantly bought this thinking it was also a wireless charger, but that’s my fault so I’m going to review it for what it is.It gets really cold. It has a powerful Peltier cooler, a chonky metal heatsink sporting a ring of fins, and a reasonably quiet fan pushing air through those fins to help dissipate the heat. I have no accurate way to read the temperature, but it’s definitely sub-ambient. Not cold enough to reach the dew point and create condensation, but it seems pretty close. It feels very similar to a can of soda in the fridge.I have a 33w power adapter that displays how much power it’s providing, and it shows the cooler consistently draws 9.5-10 watts whether the LED light is turned on or not. The product description claims short-pressing the button changes power levels, but there’s no indication of this. It always remains at 9.5-10w and doesn’t feel any more or less cold. When I plug the cooler directly into my iPhone 15 Pro Max to power it portably, I get the “accessory uses too much power” message on my phone. It still works pretty well anyway, but it drains the phone battery super fast.It has a magnetically attached fan grill on top that can easily be swapped with the other grill that allows you to clamp it onto non-MagSafe phones. This extra grill also has a 1/4” thread camera mount to attach your phone to a tripod or whatever if you wanted. You can press and hold the small button near the power port to turn the blue LED light off, but you have to do this every time you use it because the only way to power the cooler on or off is to plug or unplug it, my only gripe. The product description says there’s a power switch, but there definitely isn’t.tl;dr: Works great and is an amazing deal at $20.
3.0 out of 5 stars One stopped working
I only had two of these CEDAYS Magnetic Phone Cooler, Phone Cooling Fan with Semi-Conductor , for less than a week and one stopped functioning
5.0 out of 5 stars Impressive
This fan really works. Had no problem placing adhesive magnetive round plate on the back of the phone, gamepad phone clip or a phone stand. It really needs to be plugged in the outlet. Tried to use my laptop's USB port but does not power the fan. For me, it's okay.I've uploaded photos of the fan's attached on phone or other accessories.
4.0 out of 5 stars Actually cools phone down
I didnt expect much when I decided to order this but I was pleasantly surprised. I have an iphone 15 pro max and just like all my other iphones that ive had in the past, doing certain things like surfing Bolo or using my phone while its plugged in and charging would make my phone heat up enough for the screen to dim to the point that you would think i have the brightness all the way down. This fan prevented that but I would recommend powering it with an external power bank or something.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works really well
My phone tends to heat up bad while playing games. But this fan keeps it from heating up. I really like it. Only 2 problems. One is that it does need to be plugged in, in order to work. So that's a bummer. Second is the magnetic plate that sticks to your phone doesn't quite stick well. But other then that works like it should
