I don't leave a ton of reviews, but every so often I feel compelled to when an item seems really good for the price, and this item is one of those.We are using it for ground coffee, and it's great. I got the one with the little window in the front because it was a larger size, thinking the window would be irrelevant but it's actually pretty cool to see quickly how empty it's getting so I'm glad I did now.The metal spoon works great, 2 scoops is 1/4 cup of ground coffee which is a good amount for medium strength in a typical coffee brewer. The way it attaches to the back of the canister is also pretty cool, really like that. Easy to take off and easy to put back and out of the way. Because of the stainless steel in the scoop, I also find coffee grinds do not stick to it so when you put it back there's very little (if any) loose grinds on the counter over time. Before we used a plastic scoop and grinds stuck to it quite a bit, so quite pleased that that is no longer the case.I saw some reviews mention the thinness of the stainless steel in the canister itself and all I can say is... so what? It's used to store coffee and the like, not put behind a tire on your car to keep it from rolling backwards. It seems more than sturdy enough to me to do the job... it's not as if I can squeeze it in my hand and it crushes like an aluminum can or something. hahaThe lid latch works well, too. Pulls the lid down tight and latches with a "thunk" sound like these latches typically do.Overall for the inexpensive price I couldn't be more pleased. Looks great on our counter, doesn't make a mess, holds a good amount of coffee and is easy and convenient to use. So yeah... 5 stars.

Got tired of canned coffee and have moved up to ground coffee in bags. I'll' be buying a 12 oz bag of good ground coffee every few weeks. It will go in this small sturdy air-tight container. The scoop by itself would sell for about $7. It has a sightly rounded bottom, easily gripped sort-of-rubberized handle and is the right size That scoop size, not mentioned in the product description, is the usual 2 tbsp (2 tablespoons) or 30 ml or 1/8 cup capacity.

I used to keep my coffee in the bags that it came in but this container looks so much better sitting on my counter. The Vekken coffe canister looks great and keeps my coffee a lot fresher. The adjustable expiration date on the top is a great addition for use with other ingredients, too. It's very easy to open, not too heavy and feel very well manufactured.
