5.0 out of 5 stars Best of the best
This is a very high end projector with true 4K image quality. Note that you do need a screen for it to work but it does give a massive viewing size to make a home theatre. Also pretty good for gaming
5.0 out of 5 stars This is amazing.
It’s super expensive but the bottom line is that it delivers. I now have the incredible home theater that I have dreamed of my entire life.
5.0 out of 5 stars Image is theatre quality
I purchased this projector for a home theatre setup after watching many reviews and product videos on YouTube. Admittedly, at the time I didn't know much about AWOL but all of the reviews gave it glowing reports. I was considering another products called Foremovie, which also got good reviews but ultimately was convinced to go with the AWOL 3500 PRO because of certain features, e.g Dolby Vision, and most importantly because of its higher brightness (3500 ANSI lumens). It's not on the cheaper end of projection models but if your building out a theatre why would you not go after quality. After having this for a few months now its been worth it and I would buy it again. I could have gone cheaper but ultimately I didn't want to regret my purchase, buy a projector that couldn't give me an amazing home theatre experience, or have something that’s I have to replace sooner versus later.I use it against a rising 100" projection screen in a dark theatre room and it looks amazing. I can't speak to brighter rooms but from what I've seen in reviews with the higher lumens the quality is pretty good. The screen I use is also designed for this type of projector so it really makes whatever your watching pop. The images are bright and the colors are vivid. There is no lag that I've really noticed and when you're watching a movie or an important sporting event the images are clear and pop. It makes watching the game that much better. Also because this projector has the ability to output 3D images when you watch something in 3D on a large scale its quite the experience. Kind of like the first time you watched a 3D movie in the theatre (remember when Avatar first came out) I don’t think the other projectors had the 3D feature. I also tried this with my Playstation and there is nothing like playing streetfighter where the characters are 3 feet tall. Also didn't notice any lag there. So to answer any questions yes I'd buy this projector again and no I have no regrets. Hope this helps you out.PRO's - image quality, brightness, Dolby vision, customizable and can be projected up to 150" ( I only go up to 100), machine operation is quiet. looks great as a theatre centrepieceCON's - pricey ( but if you can afford it unless the competitors have been upgraded I'd go wiht this one.)
5.0 out of 5 stars This for the 3500 not 3000
The 3500 has beautiful colors and when you put it in 1080p you get 120 hz at input lag of 8, but guess what the 1080p looks like it's 4k. This is a really good projector. Two draw back it lowers brightness in game mode this is why I replaced the 3000 for the 3500. The second drawback. The speakers suck. They are awful. Get a sound bar.
