Our dog is constantly moving with a constant need for attention. This was a perfect toy for him. It was delivered quickly and the price point was very nice. Worked right out of the box. I love the random motion and motion activation. We can set it out and he can work off some energy on his own. It isn’t very big, so it is easy to find a spot for and leave it be. The battery did drain relatively quick even while not being used. But, still ran for more than a day on a couple of hours charge. It also works while plugged in, so you don’t have to wait for it if you have a plug nearby. The biggest improvement I would like is the ability to change the “downtime” duration. By default, it works for 15 minutes and then stops for 2 hours. It would be nice to be able to change that setting.

This automatic laser cat toy is the best purchase I've made for my feline friends in a long time! The moment I turned it on, my cats were instantly mesmerized. They chase the laser dot with boundless energy, leaping and pouncing with pure joy. It's hilarious to watch and provides them with fantastic exercise.I'm especially impressed with the motion sensor. It keeps the cats engaged by changing the laser's direction whenever they get close, adding an extra layer of challenge and fun. The multiple modes are also a great feature. I can customize the play experience based on my cats' mood or energy level.This toy has truly brought a new level of excitement to my cats' lives. It's also a huge relief for me, knowing they're getting plenty of mental and physical stimulation even when I'm busy or away from home. If you're looking for a way to keep your cats entertained and active, I highly recommend this automatic laser cat toy. It's an absolute game-changer!

First I should note that I was a little disappointed with the vertical adjustment, it can adjust quite a bit upwards, but not at all downwards from the standard position.It is very quiet, and the 3 modes offer speeds that should cater to a cats of a variety of activity levels. My cat is very active at certain times of day, and the speed and patterns from this toy do a better job of keeping her interested than a similar toy she has. That said, she still gets bored with the built in patterns quickly.For a couple reasons I think this is best used as a semi-automated toy, but I wouldn't leave it unattended for long.1. As I said my cat gets bored of the built in patterns quickly. I'll pick it up by the ball portion and guide it manually to get my cat to chase. After a few minutes kitty gets tired and wants to rest but isn't done playing - this part of the game is terribly boring for the human. That's where I think this product shines. She can lay down and keep watching the laser, and start chasing once she's rested a bit and I can jump in at any time to enhance the hunt.2. When she gets bored of the automated patterns she tends to try to murder (knock over) the toy itself. At the suggested height for the toy (a couple feet) she tends to stick her face right up to the laser before whacking it with her paw, leading to concerns for eye damage. The toy does work fine from a greater height, albeit the earlier lack of downwards adjustability makes it a little more annoying to use.3. Because of my cats play tendencies and that I don't use this unattended, the 15 minute timer function isn't useful. My cat tends to have bursts of high energy play, with short cool down periods between. A lot of times the 15 minutes ends right as she ready for round 2.A couple users have complained about the size of the laser dot at a distance. After a few feet it becomes more of a smudge than a dot. It hasn't affected my cats interest, and if anything means less a risk of eye damage from accidental eye tags during normal play.

I think this design is cute and the unit is small enough to be fairly discreet on my shelf. The laser is strong enough so that it's easily visible during bright daylight and it's completely silent as well. The battery life is not great but it can be used while charging so it's not an issue for me. If you want to place it in a spot that's not near an outlet it might be annoying. Overall, 5/5. My cats love it.

My cats love it and I love that I can let them play without having to use the laser pointer! It’s also super quiet compared to other ones I’ve had!I do wish the charge lasted a bit longer but that’s just me being picky. Lasts about a day with them using it off and on throughout the day and takes about 3 hours to charge. It’s easy to charge though!

It DOES work, however I have 2 major gripes with this.1.) the battery life isn't the best so I like to use it while plugged in but the charging cable it comes with is only 3ft long. This item is best placed on something elevated which is way higher than the 3ft cable. I was able to remedy this by using a USB extender. Would've liked to see it come with either a USB extender or a 6ft cable.2.) The head is supposed to be adjustable. I kept trying to point it downwards but it wouldn't go down. Then I realized it wasn't adjustable to go lower at all but rather higher. This makes no sense to me because you want the laser to point downwards on the floor or lower part of a wall. I followed another helpful reviewer's review of pinching the plastic pieces under the base to remove the head, reverse the head, and reconnect; PERFECT! It was a little difficult to pinch the clips in the base as my fingers are short, but got the job done with needle-nose pliers. Why it doesn't just come that way to begin with is a mystery to me.I'm knocking 2 stars off for needing additional equipment and configuration. Otherwise, my cat loves this thing when he's in the mood. He still prefers I use a hand-held laser which I get because he's playing with me and not a robot. But I work from home and this helps for the moments where he wants attention while I'm on the clock, otherwise i still use the hand-held laser.

The first device I was sent stopped working after a few weeks. Things happen. The seller immediately offered to replace. Wonderful communication and the device is awesome for my cats and dog.
My cats love it!
Turns on every 2 hours and with 3 different modes you can select - slow, fast and random! My cats really enjoy the random setting as it's unpredictable and with the moving head it covers quite some range!Ensure you have a good place for this, on a desk or shorter table the distance can be adjusted by moving the head but you don't want this thing on the ground.. my cat literally body slammed it and we both learnt our lessons pretty quick lol

I ordered this for a neighbour and she loves it , she have 3 cats and they play with it very often. It’s a good invention . It’s better than those small pocket lazer , the cats can play by themselves.

I like the random patterns and speeds. It shuts down after a bit and will restart on it's own unless you shut it off. It will also work while plugged in to charge. It would be nice if the base was weighted better so an excited cat couldn't knock it over so easily.Would be great for younger cats but my 2 year old cats still play with it.
