I would spend morning and evening daily filtering enough drinking water for our family. So we decided to buy and install a under counter style to have the RO water at our finger tips. When we received this, one tiny important part was broken so we couldn't install. I contacted the company and they immediately shipped out a new replacement part that arrived a few days later. Their customer service was top notch. It was very easy to install by watching the video. The written instructions were slightly in a different order than the video. The video was more helpful. The only thing we had to do was drill a 1/2 in. hole for the faucet which our stainless steel sink didn't not have. Now we have RO water at our finger tips!!And it taste AS GREAT as the previous RO filters water did!!Its been a great investment. Worth every penny!! The water tastes just as great as the aqua tru water did. And way less work.(The Aqua tru counter top style we had cost us 450.00, so this was way less.)When you use the water you will hear a slight hissing sound which signals the tank is re filling as your depleting the tank.It does take up a bit if space under your sink (picture) but its worth it, in my opinion. The counter top style took up valuable counter space, so this was a happy trade for me.I simply moved some cleaning products to another area from under the sink.I highly recommend this filter!!
5.0 out of 5 stars It's in the top 3 RO systems ever created
I bought this thing in September of 2023, company is probably upset I didn't review sooner I get tired of giving something a good review after a couple weeks, then it breaks, then I look stupid trying to reword a review so it doesnt make me look stupid, you dont have to worry about that with this filter system, so I cycle an ozone machine down into my private well then through siliphos balls and catalytic carbon before it hits my multi stage booster pump whichs kicks it out at 75 to 77 psi, from there into a peroxide drip system and another round of catalytic carbon, then into my salt based softener that I use potassium in and keep res up in, out of that into a nanoceram ultrafiltration cartridge and then to the house where this RO system finally sees the water, through all that the incoming TDS is usually 1150 to 1230 just depending on temperature and when it backwashed everything, all that good stuff, call it 1200 TDS on average for a nice even number, this RO consistently over the past 11 months has spit out 30 to 40 TDS water, I don't use the remineralizer filter, I prefer to add a pinch of Baja gold sea salt to my water for minerals, but I'm not lying , it has consistently and I mean I cant remember a time that it didn't produce 30 to 40 TDS water, anyone that understands water treatment will get it, most RO systems will have in the instructions book to not even introduce water that has a TDS of 1000 or better, this RO system didn't give a ****, I have talked 3 of my friends/coworkers into buying this system just based of the hard evidence I have been able to show them from my real life tryout, that's why I go into such detail describing my whole water system just so everyone is fully aware of what's going on and that this thing takes 1200 down to 30 or 40, and for 160 bucks, I wish it came with an inline TDS monitor but for 160 bucks I'll shut up and buy a separate inline TDS monitor and install it, which I did and it lines up perfectly with my meter from the zero water pitcher which is deadly accurate, and I also have one of those water quality pens that tells you a score, 96 to 98 quality water Everytime I check it, only reason it is not at 100 quality is because you can only ask so much from a single system, if my incoming TDS was 1050 or less then I woumd produce 100 quality water, on top of thaf I work at a chemical plant in the environmental unit, they process all the wastewater and create new potable water for our little community inside the turnstiles, I get the ladlb to check my water from time to time when they are slow, it's still great water, falls right inline with the pen testers and the strips and every other test I throw at it, I'm passionate about this one because I have over 14 thousand dollars into my water system that I was told was fine by the home inspector when I bought it and I walked into a well with e coli, if I catch that inspector at Wal Mart he will get a giant bear hug from me, 14 grand later Im here writing this review, buy it seriously
4.0 out of 5 stars Good product so far
We had a plumber come out to install it and it didn’t take him long maybe 45 minutes. The hold tank is pretty large so it’s nice to not have to wait for more water to come in/be filtered. The taste was great for awhile. We are right at 6 months and now the taste is off so we are going to try to change out 2 of the filters and see if that corrects the issue. Overall we have been satisfied with the product and as long as the filter change works we are very pleased overall with price and quality.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy install
I read several complaints about leakage. The only way there could be a leak is if its improperly installed. Shame on people for blaming their incompetence on the product. Great water and easy to install. I went with this product because we have no outlet below the sink. So far I very much enjoy this product.
1.0 out of 5 stars Product defective right out of the box
Spent my off time and finally installed this under my sink. Everything is hooked up absolutely the way it should be. Turn it on and does nothing but put water down the drain. I’m very disappointed that such a simple system doesn’t even work. Check valve inside the brand new unit is faulty.
3.0 out of 5 stars Yeah, it's pretty good
It has been working well and is less of an inconvenience than my previous system but I have noticed the post filter makes a strange humming sound that I am not sure if it is normal.
5.0 out of 5 stars Frizzlife Rok3
After owning this for about 6 months. I love it. My water isn't terrible but this still made a huge difference in clarity and taste. It took my wife a couple days to get use to it. Love that there's no power required. Some people were disappointed in the flow rate which is a bit slow but I was expecting that since the system doesn't have a pump(which would require a plug). It was very simple to install. If you register your device on the frizzlife website they sent me a free post filter.
2.0 out of 5 stars Garbage
Not my first RO install. This wastes 2.5 gallons per cup and never worked correct. The install has been triple checked. My water pressure is right. The tank never filled with water. Either defective or flat out garbage but there are many better options out there especially at this price point. But at least the customer service was good with refund.
After two months still taste plastic and sour
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Not sure if I can return it. We still have to buy water because it taste sour. But when tested, it shows very low partials in water. So happy with this. But just the taste can’t be right.
