5.0 out of 5 stars Really works!
After a month of using 4 chews a day I have noticed a drastic change in my dog. She is a 14 year old lab. She gets up better, walks better and sometimes runs. She loves the taste and easy to chew. It seems like it's less painful for her to get around.
5.0 out of 5 stars 3.5 breeds like the flavor… and it does seem to help!
So, I have 3 dogs that are all ~around ~ seven years old. Pit bull = 85lbs w/ allergies & stomach issues. Greyhound/bulldog mix = 60 lbs with a hard time getting on furniture anymore. Carolina dog = 40lbs & a very picky eater. All three dogs ate these without any allergy or stomach issue side effects. The joint support seems to help them all run a bit longer than they have been lately. They all seem to like the flavor. The people are Wuffes somehow made an amazing product and managed to sign the moon and sun just so to get all three of my dogs to enjoy these bites without any issues. My Carolina dog and greyhound mix especially seemed to get some appreciated pain relief. The product came in a plastic jar that seems very durable. Beneath the screw on lid was a paper backed foil to protect the product and keep it fresh. The label is down to business. It tells you brand, product name, ingredients and directions on mostly green background. No cartoon animals, pictures or gimmicks. I was impressed with the thought put into the packaging.Overall, I would say absolutely give this product a go if your pup isn’t quite as preppy as they used to be, or as a proactive measure. The label does say for use in dogs 12 weeks and up.
4.0 out of 5 stars Mobility Improvement
My dog, Maci enjoys the taste as I enjoy the ease of dosing her with this product that, I believe, did aid in easing her joint pain. She is a bit on the "fluffy" side and this supplement did appear to encourage her to be a bit more active as I believe it aided in reducing her hip joint pain. Maci's personality has always been more on the laid back, only give what I have to side, but she was more agreeable to up the frequency of playtime and it's duration.
5.0 out of 5 stars Dogs ate them up!
I have 3 labs, I am concerned about their hips as they age and was impressed with the ingredients. It is pricey though- it does have some ingredients the cheaper options don’t but I am not sure what difference they make either. Dogs loved the flavor and I would repurchase if on sale….
5.0 out of 5 stars My dogs love these!
I am using these on my senior boy who is 13 years old and about 20 lbs. He is a walking garbage disposal with everything except things that taste like medicine which was my concern with these. Instead I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that he adores the taste of these and they are pretty soft for him to eat. They don’t have any weird smells which was a relief. I think they are absolutely worth their price and so far seem to be amazing quality. My boy is still on his first month to see any improvement but fingers crossed
1.0 out of 5 stars This Product Kills Dogs (Including Mine)
I wrote the following to Wuffe at their customer service/warranty email, but still have yet to hear back (UPDATE: I did hear back from Wuffe finally...their response is at the bottom of this message, and it is a disgusting response):"I ordered the "Wuffes Chewable Dog Hip and Joint Supplement for Small & Medium Breeds - Glucosamine & Chondroitin Chews - Dog Joint Supplements & Vitamins - Extended Joint Care - 60 Ct" product on August 28th via Bolo, and I started a Subscribe & Save the same day. My dog was 16 years old, and starting to have issues with her hips and walking, so I figured I'd give these a try. We gave the recommended dosage to her the day after the first container arrived, and she instantly started going downhill that same day. Not thinking that it was because of the Wuffes, I continued to give them to her for a couple of days. The second day she wasn't walking at all. She stopped eating and was VERY lethargic. I stopped giving them to her and she was able to start walking a little bit again, and eat, and drink, but she still was in terrible condition. I also noticed that her stomach was swollen. I can't be certain, but I'm pretty sure she started to have seizures as well. It was a terrible situation all around. We had to put her down on Saturday. Her health went from starting to get bad to having to be put down within a week after starting these. Nothing else changed with her diet nor routines, other than giving her these Wuffes."For my review: I wish I had read some of the other reviews about how deadly these are and how they made other dogs sick. Our dog was healthy, other than her legs starting to get weaker. I have never seen her stomach bloat up as much as it did when she had these things. I've never seen it bloat up at all, actually, and she eats basically anything. She stopped eating after taking these. She stopped doing anything other than laying down, sleeping, and having what looked to be seizures. I never should have given her these "supplements" which turned out to be poison. We had to take her in to be put down after she had multiple seizure-like episodes. During one of them, she let out a very loud, whimpering howl, which we all thought was the TV at first, then saw her arching her back and her neck and realized it was her. It was horrifying and so sad to watch. She hardly ever makes noises other than eating noises. These are truly terrible products and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.UPDATED RESPONSE: Wuffes responded to this review writing the following: "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience regarding your order and would like to offer you a full refund for your purchase. If you would like a full refund: please reply 'Full refund'.We hope that you give us another chance. Thank you very much."Having to put my dog down is MORE than an "inconvenience". And how in the world am I to "give (them) another chance" when my dog is dead because of their product? Unbelievable! I also asked them to pay for the vet bill of putting my dog down, but they refused. Great. So I get my money back on the product that has killed my dog, and I no longer have my baby. Fantastic. DON'T buy anything to do with this company!
3.0 out of 5 stars Very strong aroma
I gave it 3 stars because my furbabies went from tolerating these, to not wanting them at all, so they are right in the middle of the ratings. My 2 sausage sisters just didn't take to these at all. I had to really cajole them to get them to eat them on the first day. The second day was the same. They would reluctantly take them, chew a little, drop them and chew a few more times until they swallowed. After the first several days I had to put some peanut butter on them to get the girls to eat them. At this point even the peanut butter doesn't work anymore. I know it's not the texture, they're soft enough, so I can only surmise that they're getting much pickier and stubborn as they age. Thanks for the opportunity.
5.0 out of 5 stars This product worked great for our rescue Yorkie mix.
Our foster 11 yr old Yorkie mix could not walk up or down steps when we got him. I had to carry him up and down. He had a bad limp on his right rear. Day one of Wuffes he was able to walk down on his own. Day two he could slowly go up and down. We haven't even been using this for a month and he is running and jumps at the door when we come home. He can jump off the bed or chair without limping. He bounds up and down the steps and a soft quarter sized growth has disappeared.
