The set comes exactly as shown in the images. The sand provided is plenty, and the tools are a good size and made of sturdy plastic. It was purchased in 2020 and is still going strong. There are no broken tools and no dried-out sand. It is excellent for developing your little one's sensory, grip strength, scooping, and bilateral hand coordination skills. Definitely recommend!

Easy to clean up sand with lots of fun gadgets to go with it. Where can you go wrong? Kinetic sand is just as fun for an adult as it is kids to me. And we love it more than playdoh in my house.

This kit comes with all you need to start your journey with kinetic sand! I started by just having my toddler use the sand alone and then added little toy bugs for her to find. And this was the perfect addition to help her fine motor skills. Each tool works differently and gives time for the child to explore shapes, textures, and my toddler was even talking about the colors of the tools! I attached pictures of all the tools. It also came with three packs of sand. I already had a small pack so I only added in one more pack for now to keep them all from combining and turning a gross color so soon. I recommend using two packs of sand for quality play. It's enough sand to play with all the tools. This was 100% worth the price. Sometimes you can find it less expensive on Michael's website. And if you're a teacher you get an additional 15% off there. If not, I still think it's fully worth this price. My 1.5 year old loves it!

Great for every age! Everybody likes this stuff whether you think you do or not.. put a little in your hand and you're hooked at least for a couple of minutes. This kit makes it so you don't have to buy piece-by-piece if you're giving it as a present. All the tools keep my kids busy and creative and they're free to play at their sand table and walk away from it without worrying about it drying out, melting or getting blown away, they can return to it whenever they want with things still (mostly) intact. I will say if you have pets indoors where kids will play with this, say goodbye to any of the sand that falls on the floor. It will catch the fur and never let go.I didn't give my kids all of the sand at once, you already know.. the first thing they did was mash it all up into one doodoo brown color even after I told them not to. Then when they were sad because they couldn't separate the colors again, I asked if they'd listen to me this time and then gave them the chunks I kept away :)This is worth the money, and easy to pick up when I know one of my younger kid's friends hasa birthday coming up.

Ok, I'll preface this by saying I **hate** sand. When my 7 year old asked for this I cringed, but ultimately bought it because I believe that sensory play is more important than my sand issues. Now that we have it, we both love it! It sticks together in a way that makes it nothing like normal sand. It has a very satisfying texture and all of the tools it comes with are great for even more fun! 10/10 toy!!
