UPDATE: The last two pictures were taken 2 weeks later and almost time for a fill.No lifting. No problems. No kidding.This review is from a professional cosmetologist with more than 45 years nail experience.I have experience with just about every type of nail treatment there is. I’m proficient in acrylic, hard gel, poly gel, etc. sculpting from scratch, using overlay or tips. You name it and I’ve used it on a client or myself.After years of also working in an office behind a computer & a keyboard, my hands are toast. I need to have surgery as my carpal tunnel is so bad. So, I can no longer take clients. I also cannot do my own nails. It’s just too painful. Even with an E-drill. It’s just too much fine work.I recently discovered the soft gel system. This is a game changer. I did both hands in under an hour with salon quality results at home. There is a bit of a learning curve, but just keep practicing. The biggest hurdle is making sure you don’t have any air bubbles so you have to press the nail down hard during the flash cure.I started with my regular nail prep. Push back your cuticles and remove any excess. Next, a gentle buff to remove the shine.Clean your nail bed with alcohol on a lint free wipe, or I prefer to use a soft bristle toothbrush for this. Make sure you have the correct nail sizes picked out beforehand. I also have a special tip primer that I use (underneath where the tip adheres to your nail bed only). Next double prime your nail beds (one hand at a time). A side note about the little UV light that’s included, this is only supposed to be used as a flash cure, it’s not meant to do your final cure. You should have a full size UV light for your finished treatment (Not included. But there are several cost efficient options available on Bolo). My final cure Under a full-size lamp is 60-90 seconds. After your double prime, use the Beetles nail glue gel and do a thin coat on your nail bed and do a quick flash cure for about 10 to 15 seconds. Then get your tip ready, apply the gel to the tip over your primer. This is the part that takes a little practice, but you will get used to it. Don’t use too much gel. Apply the tip back at your cuticle area first, pressing/rocking forward (use a lot of pressure to get rid of any air pockets). Flash cure under the light for 10 seconds. Once you feel the gel grab, let go and finish flash curing. My light turned off automatically at about 60 seconds or so.During the learning curve, I ended up with a little bit of excess gel on my side walls and/or underneath. But this is easily taken care of. With practice it will become less and less. That’s it. Then follow the directions included by the manufacturer. I always put another layer of gel over the top for increased strength as I’m very hard on my nails. You can either wear them natural or polish. Make sure you use a good cuticle oil to keep your nails and cuticles healthy. Then you can polish and do any nail art you would like.I’m very impressed with this little kit and I will keep using it at home. For a longer lasting treatment, make sure to use gloves when doing the dishes, etc. Anytime you get your nails wet, they expand and contract, and it puts stress on your manicure. Also, remember every time you use a UV light, the gel just keep getting harder. Even on a previously cured set. If you over cure, they can get brittle. These can also be filled like a full set of sculpted acrylic, or gel nails. If they haven’t lifted, you don’t need to take them off and re-apply from scratch. Just use the Beetles gel to fill them after using the same prep, as mentioned above. Happy manicuring everybody. I’m truly happy with this product and I will continue to use this as it is an extremely affordable and easy option for me.

I like them personally, they fit pretty well and are of good quality. The glue is pretty solid as well, you can use it as a base for your nail and cure it a little to make it pasty like then put glue on your false nail and then put it on your nail and cure it. This is a small UV light so you might want to get something a little higher in wattage at least 35 watts so it does a more solid and full cure. They lay flat with the bed of the nail so that's nice as well, and they bond great with your nail and last a pretty good while depending on the job type you have. Would purchase again.

These are definitely a process with the UV light glue, and UV between each level: base coat, color, 2nd coat color & top coat.I also order the short coffin and I’d say these are medium to long & I filed them down. I’ll definitely get the extra short next time & hope for short to medium. 😂That being said….I love them. They are not perfect, but it was my 1st time & I believe it’ll get easier the more I practice!

The media could not be loaded. I am a newbie to applying false nails. I have been pairing my nails with Beetles gel polish for about 6 months. I gave their *** a try but it takes a lot of practice and is very hard to get the hang of. So I was excited to try these nail tips.I started by preparing my nail by buffing them to create more grit for the glue to stick to. Then I wipe them with nail polish remover and lastly cure one coat of base gel from my other beetles set.To apply I brush glue onto my prepared nail and cure for 10 seconds under the light in the kit. Then I brush glue on the bottom half of the fake nail. I then I apply it to my nail with lots of pressure to press out bubbles and hold it down while it cures under the light. Holding it down is the hardest part. My first set was a little crooked, oops.After applying all the nails I cured them in my larger UV light. The small light is only meant to flash cure them. The first set I ever applied lasted 18 days. And let me tell you I am not easy on my nails. I have four kiddos and am deep in the trenches with diapers, bath time, dishes and more. I never put on gloves as recommended in the instructions. I really wanted to put these babies to the test. On day 16 one nail did pop off while I was moving furniture. I told you I wasn’t easy on my nails. I purchased a different glue that does not need to cure under UV. As this glue will only set with UV and will not work once the nails are painted. I then went on to wear them for another 4 days until I lost one that popped off.I am super impressed with how long they last. I took off one star because I have very wide nail beds. Even in salons they struggle to find a perfect fit for my nails. So as you see in the video you can see a bit of my side nail. This is not a deal breaker for me because most people don’t examine my nails closely, so they would never know.The set has more nail sizes than will fit me but I have been using the smaller sizes on my pre teens.It’s a great set. I ordered almond medium, I am going to order the square medium next. A truly great set for beginners and real women who do real everyday tasks.

Easy to use!Love the glue and a uv light was included!I'm actually about to use Beetles polish on them right now!The full coverage stiletto nails fit me. Side wall to side wall. Some are too small,of which I would expect. The glue works! It does it's job! I will be purchasing again that is when I use close to 500 nail tips lol. Overall 5 ⭐I've never been disappointed with Beetles anything! 😆High Recommend!

I ordered these as an amateur of doing my nails myself. I was impressed by how many different sizes of nails there were. However there was no size big enough for my thumbs and middle fingers. I do have big hands but I’ve never had a problem with the sizes of press on nails.

Sinceramente cubrió mis expectativas. Están muy bien de tamaño, traen medidas desde el 0-14, así que les quedan a todas las manos , pedí almendra pero yo las hice más cuadradas y me quedaron a mi gusto Espero me duren ya que si tuve que limar la uña por debajo para mayor adherencia. Le doy un 10 de 10 hasta hoy.

Excelente producto, muy fácil de usar, y práctico para llevar en caso de un viaje, incluye solo la lámpara, kit de uñas postizas en 10 tamaños diferentes y pegamento. Adicional adquiri el set de 20 esmaltes de la misma marca, vienen pequeños como referencia una batería AA pero son colores muy bonitos, anexo imagen de los esmaltes que usé.
Perfect starter kit
The media could not be loaded. Easiest nails I have ever done and they stay so long! Do not need any experience to use this kit. Does not come with any colours or top coat. You need to buy that separate.

WORTH IT! even at full price
I got this kit on sale and would have been fine paying full price for this set. These are so easy to put on. They take a bit longer to remove with the soak off method (cotton ball/acetone) I use a wood scraper stick every 10 minutes and add a tiny bit more acetone to my cotton ball and it works great. I only use them on my dominate hand for my thumb, index, and middle finger. For some reason these always break and chip and all my other nails are strong and fine. These have already helped those nails grow back stronger but I plan on using them from now on.
