I bought this for myself for Father’s Day, and holy cow, it’s just perfect. I have owned B&W headphones, wired and Bluetooth, and they have lasted decades, and this thing is built so well. It sounds stunning with a high-definition source like Apple Music lossless. Alexa works great, and controls everything in my home. It sits in my bedroom and more than fills the room. It’s so nice for listening as we start the day. It goes silent instantly, and very low power about 20 minutes after you say your last command or stop playing music. In fact, my only request is that the lovely LED light went dark sooner, or that you could tell Alexa to turn off the LED. (You can do it in the app, and it does for off itself after 20 minutes.)All-in-all, it’s one of the nicest pieces of audio kit I’ve ever owned, and I can’t recommend it enough. We got the grey, because I figured it would show less dust, but the black looks a little sexier to my eye. I guess I don’t care too much what it looks like. That’s just an extra benefit that it looks so good. What’s amazing is the sound. No distortion at any level. Just clean, well-balanced sound for any music. Right now it’s playing Tony Bennett, just before was the Beatles, and before that was Rush. It handles all of them.

I love this speaker, it sounds phenomenal. Gets crazy loud and has bass that can shake walls. My one complaint is that the wifi connection with this is slow and unreliable when streaming to it through airplay. Wish it had an ethernet port to get a good connection. I wasn’t going to use this as an $800 Bluetooth speaker so I returned it. If you can find one around $500 to $650, I’d recommend it, otherwise it’s not worth $800 knowing it’s going to be obsolete in the not so distant future.

The speaker is divine. It’s gorgeous to look at, adding to your decoration. The sound is obviously amazing, filling the room with soul-punching bass even with the default profile. We use it 100% with AurPlay 2 which works seamlessly. Always there in the list of devices. The only ‘thing’, for me personally, is that I find myself trying to talk to it as though it was a HomePod. Obviously it doesn’t respond, but despite the sound quality being - for my ear - better than a single HomePod, and marginally better than two paired HomePods (original big ones) I find it frustrating not being able to control it with my voice. For me this device is easily worth the money, but the key is to find its place in your abode. Somewhere the design can shine, the sound can impress, and you won’t find yourself needing it to respond to your voice. Not sure if it has microphones which would enable a software update to implement third-party Siri, but that would make it the ultimate showpiece speaker. Overall, 5 stars and very happy with my purchase.

I had high hopes for the Zeppelin.Packaging was great! Speaker looks great in gray. That’s all I can say good. It took many attempts to get it paired with my phone. The app didn’t explain how to do it. The quick start guide was lacking this info as well. Had to search online to find the method. Once paired, found the app even more distasteful. No volume control in the app. No power control in the app. EQ capability is limited to treble, bass, and brightness sliders. I found that even with the brightness turned down all the way the sound was still “tinny” on most types of music. After playing it for two hours the pairing in the app simply disappeared and I was forced to start the process again. Finally, since the app has no power control the only way to turn the speaker off is with the manual push button on the rear control panel. It did not work. No matter how many times I pressed/touched/or held it down would it shut off. I finally had to disconnect the cord. Terrible product. I will be returning it today.

I’m really torn on this. When it works it sounds GREAT (I am a fan of B&W speakers). However, it kept dropping from Alexa and my WiFi. A call with B&W support suggested it was my WiFi, however multiple other devices (desktop, printer, laptop, iPad, iPhone, Echo, Echo Studio) work flawlessly. A replacement did exactly the same thing so it was not just a one off bad speaker. Since it does not have any line input then connection to the network is vital for its operation, and having to reset it every couple of days (or sometimes hours) was not good. If the connectivity issues are resolved this would be a great speaker. For now, I’m looking elsewhere.

I picked this products, besides the sound quality, the integration of Alexa. But the performance is really poor, big delays on Alexa responding, not always executes what you request, volume changes are dramatical.

Si conoces esta marca sabes que es muy buena calidad, en lo particular me parece un producto que suena muy bien, tiene mucha fidelidad y un muy buen balance en la distribución del audio, obviamente los acabados del producto te dan la impresión de lo que es, un equipo de sonido de alta gama.Muy recomendable para los que queremos escuchar la música con la mayoría de sus matices desde un equipo celular de forma inalámbrica.Obviamente jamás se comparará a tener un amplificador y un setup completo, pero por el tamaño y la estética es increíble, lo único que aún le veo mejoras en el tema de la app pero espero que integren más servicios en el futuro
A conexão Bluetooth não funciona.
Após várias horas tentando instalar, tive que devolver o produto porque o Bluetooth não funciona. Quando fui pesquisar, vi que o "codec" do Bluetooth "aptx adaptative" é de baixa capacidade/latência, ou seja, tem baixa taxa de transmissão de dados, fazendo parar a conexão ou interrompendo o áudio. Péssimo. Não recomendo.
Best in class sound
Typical B&W sound. Large sound stage and vocal is rich and full. Tons of more low-freq and dynamic compared to Formation Flex. Hopefully next upgrade would be their 800 series or nautilus. Love the B&W signature sound so much, their headphone is also highly recommended. Although B&O has great freq separation, but as other headphone, all the sound is in-head, B&W’s large sound stage is so joyful.
