5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing flavor!
This ramen is top notch. The noodles are yummy and the seasoning packets are good clean ingredients. Good for you and a large portion size. Highly recommend this flavor.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very tasty!
I was a little worried about buying 15 packages without tasting beforehand, but trust David Chang. They did not disappoint! An easy lunch, the noodles cook in about 3-5 minutes, and they are much tastier than traditional ramen. Sauce packages instead of a seasoning packet. Each flavor of noodle tastes different and they’re very affordable at $3/each. I do like topping mine with a fried egg!
4.0 out of 5 stars Tasty
Easy to make and tasty. Add some protein and great meal. All flavors are a bit spicy tho so be warned
5.0 out of 5 stars Yummy
I love these noodles too bad they’re so expensive
3.0 out of 5 stars Good but Pricey
Like some of the reviews I've read..... very tasty but not worth $3 a package. Price point should be $2 a package. I like them but won't buy them again at this price.
5.0 out of 5 stars Restaurant quality noodle dish…for 3 bucks a serving!!!!!
Outstanding noodles, perfect texture and bite …pillow tender. Sauce included is next level tasty, flavors hit your palate like a locomotive!!! ( in a good way) . These will be on a regular rotation for my lunch and dinner routine
5.0 out of 5 stars Great basic upon which to build upon
I bought the 25 pack of multiple kinds. I have so far enjoyed each one tried so far and have found them wonderful on their own but more appreciate them for the basic building block for more substantial meals. I find this to be a great addition to the pantry. That's a lot of meals worth of base upon which to build. Very handy and quick to enjoy. The sauce packets are a key for me. The noodles are good on their own, but the sauce and things added are the best key ingredients, as always.I am going to buy one of his cookbooks about home cooking to give me some more inspiration and understanding on how to expand my enjoyment.
1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money, at all. Small on portion and flavor.
I love Momofuko. Eat there every time I'm in Vegas and we always bring a sampling of their sauces home. This is not that. Not even in the same ballpark.Tried all three flavors in sampler pack, at the same time, and it was a good thing we did. The amount of noodles in one package isn't even a portion size big enough for a child. Even at three packages, we found ourselves steaming up a handful of soup dumplings afterwards to satisfy our appetite. If portion size was the only complaint and the flavor was even half as good as the marketing claimed, we'd still be happy though. I really wanted something close to the Momofuko flavor and I was willing to make a couple pouches at once to make it a meal. However, the flavor was firmly in the "meh" category too. The spicy, wasn't. The Soy and Scallion needed additional soy sauce because there was such a mild flavor, and the "Tingly" had zero tingle. It just tastes like a splash of soy sauce with a dash chili oil. Every bit as underwhelming as the other two. None of the flavor packets contained enough seasoning to even coat the miniture portion of dried noodles and we found ourselves digging in the pantry for extra soy sauce, chili oil, sesame oil, and rice wine vinegar to try to give it some form of flavor. In the end, a complete let down and I'm certainly left with the feeling of being ripped off. These are an absolute bad value and a shameful play on the name of the restaurant to charge a premium price for a sub-par product. At the current sale price ($47 for 15 pouches), you're paying over a dollar an ounce for these noodles (see the photo for a size comparison with the two top brands of instant noodles) Your standard Top Ramen pack has more noodles and more flavor and comes in at around ¢25 a pack, not on sale. Typically , you can buy them all day at around 10-15 cents a pack. Even the Shin Black (what we're told at the Asian grocery is the "gold standard" for instant noodles) at $8 for a five pack bag is a far superior choice. Much better noodles with so much more flavor.Frankly, I wouldn't buy this product again, regardless of price. It just wasn't good. Matter of fact, it was bad. Bad enough to make us second guess our love of the Momofuko brand.
