I bought this light after having previously used the more commonly available halogen work lights, which are much bulkier, heavier, and excessively hot. By contrast, this Voyager light is compact, does not generate excess heat, is lightweight, and is still very bright. I really like the pivoting ability of the two light bars, which can be angled in different directions. The unit provides a fairly tall pole, over head high, and it has a large stable base. The unit is light weight enough to be easy to pick up and move. I also like how it stores in a much more compact fashion than the comparable halogen work lights, and is easier to move around. It would be nice to have a slightly longer cord, but it's easy enough to add an appropriately heavy gauge extension cord. The remote control is handy. The remote will let you go between full brightness and a dim setting which is very dim, okay for a sort of minimal illumination at night but not really enough light to be of use in other settings. It would be nice to have a more intermediate light setting, but that's not a big issue. This unit was a little more money that comparable halogen lights, but with the lighter weight, compactness, and performance advantages, I think it was worth paying more. I've used it several times over the last month and it seems like it will hold up for a long time.

Absolutely perfect! I ordered this light with the Milwaukee battery adapter. It has exceeded my expectations. Easy to set up. Wide lighting range. Even on the lowest setting it’s plenty bright. My only issue is mine didn’t come with a carry bag but I’m not sure if it was supposed to so no big issue.

I took this camping and was able to use the battery for 5 hours at high beams. and the next for maybe between 2 -3 hours, then used the alternative accessories to add another battery. portable, and collapsible. the only negative thing I disliked is where the lights can be directed or pointed to you cannot set solidly. besides that the remote control works and the other accessoriesthat you can by to put power tools batteries is very useful and the wall plug connect accessorie also is very useful to plug in to a generator. or wall at job site.

So far I have used this for car repairs and detailing. It will light up your car's paint and show you all of the imperfections and swirls. The Milwaukee adapter works great for my batteries. The added remote is very handy. I tried a brand name light and it was no where near the brightness as this. I was using a wired light and got tired of moving it around which is why I took a chance on this. We shall see how long this lasts, took one star off because of unknown longevity. So far so good.

This is a surprisingly powerful portable light that covers quite a large area. I also purchased the converter to use with my DeWalt batteries (definitely a big plus that you can use the batteries you already have on hand). I bought this for my business for when we pick up items from customers homes at night (we do party equipment rentals). This light can easily cast light across a large area creating almost daylight conditions. I also love that it has two directional heads so it can cover two areas at once. Every single time we set this light up our customers are blown away with how powerful it is for its size. I've never used it for much over an hour but even after an hour of use the batteries we use are still over half full. Definitely worth the investment.

I bought this light primarily for night fishing from the shore. I had been using a pair of propane Coleman Northstar lanterns but even on the lowest setting this work light is brighter than both of them together. It's also much easier to direct the light where you want it. It's nice not having to deal with buying propane or the hissing and fragile mantles and glass globes either. The light folds up nice and compact and it's easy to carry even with my hands full of gear so now I only have to make one trip. Even in near freezing temps I was able to get a little over 3 hours out of the battery on the medium setting. Low is supposed to be 6 hours so with a second battery on the low setting it can go all night and still be plenty bright. The battery pack does take a very long time to charge but it's an 8.8 amp so that's pretty normal. It's well built and seems sturdy and comes with a nice case with shoulder strap. There are connections for a strap on the light but only one strap so a second strap for easy transport while out of the case would have been nice.A couple of power option suggestions...I'd really like an adapter with battery terminal clamps so we have the option of running the light off a 12V deep cycle without having to mess around with an inverter.I have a bunch of 20V power tool batteries but they are Porter Cable and Black & Decker. PC, B&D and Stanley use the same battery platform but there isn't an official adapter for them. I was able to get around this by purchasing the Powersmith Makita adapter and a third-party OC/B&D/Stanley-to-Makita adapter but an official adapter for these batteries would be nice and add a significant number of compatible batteries.Overall I'm super happy with this light. Happy enough that I bought a second one to cover more area. If we just had the adapters for a deep cycle and PC/B&D/Stanley batteries it would be perfect.
