I was not disappointed. It was easy to set up, looks great, and works well. It is a great option for anyone who wants an aquarium on a budget. I bought the 8-gallon model which fits perfectly in the corner and can be seen throughout the room. My son loves it.

However, I had to make this remark about it. I think it’s very very nice and I think I’m going to enjoy it. It seems to be a well-made product. I like the idea that Bolo is also carrying the filter pad the cleaners I’d like to buy things from the same company when I buy them so I like the idea that I hope they’re not gonna drop the product. I think it’s very very nice. I mean for the money it’s it’s a pretty nice statement and the light is pretty cool smaller than what I thought it was but you know 8 gallons is 8 gallons, very nice so I’m it’s not new shed and if they give me an opportunity, I’ll give you an upgrade when I buy the fish eventually right now I’m just in between things and I don’t have the time of the patience but it’s very very very nice, but I’m not gonna give a five star rating cause I would be lying. I’m not using it as a fish tank just yet but I will. I will give it a rating. I think it’s beautiful so I mean I’m probably gonna give it a high rating I think it’s well-made. It’s at matter fact I know it’s well made. It’s in my living room. It’s in my office. I think it’s beautiful . :-)

Once I put everything together, I didn’t wanna move from the area. It was just beautiful. Everything was perfect. Sometimes it’s hard to clean it, but I found the way it was worth the money.

The media could not be loaded. Received my 8 gallon Biorb a week ago and have been loving it so far. The setup process was pretty quick and easy and unlike other reviews the lid closes just fine with a heater, just have cord positioned near the back. So far I just have a single betta in the tank and have been crimping the air hose to minimize the bubbles somewhat. It’s fun watching him swim around the tank and see him disappear in some spots and be magnified in others.Downsides of this tank are as follows:-The acrylic scatches very easily. My first tank arrived scratched so I sent it back, I’m thinking it had been a return because it wasn’t packaged well. The second tank was brand new and looks great but already see some scratches from some curious cats (who are now banned from the tank room).-Cost. I felt like splurging on this tank because of the beautiful design and fun lighting, but it’s definitely not cheap. The tank itself, biorb decorations, biorb cleaning supplies etc all cost a pretty penny, but they are nice quality.For the most part the pump is nice and quiet as long as it’s positioned right. I found it helps to keep it on a rubberized surface like a kitchen hot pad. That way it doesn’t wander from the vibrations.I plan on adding 5 neon tetras once the tank is fully cycled. Will update if the cleaning process proves to be overly difficult.Hope this review helps!

This is hands down the best tank I have ever purchased.The biorb accessories are just as beautifully details and great quality.The only downside is the air bubbles cause a very heavy current, which is to strong for my betta… however, I used a chip clip to attach on the air hose and it slowed down the bubbles, giving my fish the perfect current to swim in.All in all.. this is a very lovely tank to have.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this tank for a little Betta fish named Bluey (3 year olds creative mind). So far it seems like he likes it. The tank does have a little notch cut out on inner lid for a heater wire to run down into it. From reading reviews I also saw people mentioning that the media may be to rough for betta fins and let me tell you, it is. Being worried about Bluey and a couple Otto's that I've got coming in, I ended up putting like 90% of the bag of media that came with the tank then covered it with 1L of Ehiem bio substrate. Its definitly better now for my fish, and doesnt interfere with the undergravel filter. If you do only use the included media, buy 2, the included amount is not enough for the decor to look in proper place. The tank also came with a packet of water conditioner and live bacteria to make everything super easy. Marine and Reef also includes a quick-start and setup packet so A+ for them being awesome. Definitly happy with my purchase. I included pictures to show the notch on inner lid aswell as the ehiem substrate.*update*Avoid, please avoid. I thought this was the best tank ever but everything went wrong. 2 of my little otto's with my betta ended up dying from the filter. The undergravel filter doesnt do its job properly. When cleaning it out there was sooo much debri underneath its no wonder i had to do 50% water changes everyday to keep amonia down. And my poor bluey died not 3 weeks after enen with goid bacteria levels from previous substrate. This thing is a death ball. Then after returning for said reasons i only got a 50% refund. I get sold a crappy product for $180-$200 and get jipped on the return. 1 star and i wish i could put zero. Do noy buy. Get something else. Please avoid.

I just love this orb fish tank,its so beatiful and very easy to clean, no leakage, the light is so cool so many diff colors and options, the filter works very well also, overall very pleased i bought the 8 gallon to lol, id recommend over and over!!!

Shortcomings
Okay so I've used this tank for a while now and it's beautiful to look at but I wish I would have got a different model.First issue is that it's not made to be used with a heater so no room for cords, so can't use this for a betta fish or anything else that needs warmer than room temp water.Didn't think that one out, them nor me, so after a couple modifications it can do it but definitely be aware.Second thing is the medium it comes with is garbage, don't use it, find where you can buy biogravel and use that. Then if you don't like the look of it top it with whatever larger decorative stone. The medium it comes with is sharp which is bad for fish but it also does a bad job at giving your tank a full cycle of bacteria and thus building nitrates which will harm your fish.I would also suggest getting plants don't use any plastic junk fake plants only silk but Remeber that silk plants won't clean your tank and will eventually get all dirty so real plants are much better.Third is the air pump, buy an air adjuster nob if you purchase this tank, it pumps out way way to much air and that's loud and hard on fish also it promotes bacteria / algae, once we put a air adjuster in it we really noticed a difference in cleaning and our fish behaviour.The filter is fine, just use different filter material in it don't buy theirs, use carbon filter matting on the bottom and then the white filter media on the top so two layers, toss out there filter or use it once then toss it. This will all slow your tank to thrive much Better and less tank cleanings and water changes will be needed. Otherwise your going to have alot of work on your hands even with just one fish.Finally the thing that's hard to notice about this tank until you actually see it is how small it is and the shape makes doing anything inside it a challenge, like cleaning the medium or moving plants or heck changing the filter!I think it's a really cool idea that needs to be improved on and I like the bio orb styles but I wish I would have got a different style and known all this stuff before hand, I will probably sell it and upgrade in a year.
60s vibe fish tank
This tank looks like its from a 1960s Sci fi movie. Easy set up. Looks well built. Nice light effect. Filers water from the very bottom.
