I used to have trouble with people (thieves) tampering with my bike, but since I started using this lock, I haven't had any evidence of that happening. It's a nice size, and it fits on the back of my bike in a nice little tool pack that I carry. It's heavy duty, yet large enough to connect to poles, bike racks, etc. And it's a great price.

    The touch and feel of the lock and cable are nice, especially the soft touch arrive the u lock to prevent scratching. However for the sake of cost of compactness the u is very short. On an adult cruiser bike it makes it impossible to secure the front wheel to a public bike stand. With the cable it can work with a bit of finagling but not the most convenient. Still, for the price and quality, does the job well enough.

    Bike lock seems fine. The strong lock with a longer steel cable makes it easy to secure the front wheel.The very first day, someone cut the steel cable, but couldn't get through the heavy duty bike lock. The heavy lock did its job - kept me from having to walk home and buy a new bike!
