I’m not a wiz kid when it comes to technology but this is super simple and easy to operate. Plug in Photo Cell, set lights to run lights (2, 4, 6hrs or dusk to dawn) after dusk, HIGH end professional grade. Not some cheap chain store plastic transformer.

This is a well made product, I used this one on a customers LED landscape lighting. The only con for some people might be the timer. It is an hour timer and not a time clock. With the photo switch installed, you set the timer for how many hours you want the lighting to stay on.

Very high quality transformer for landscape lights. Has multiple feeds for different zones so that all lights get enough voltage. Very easy to setup. Highly recommended transformer!

Sounds more like an industrial transformer than a lawn light power supply. Quite audible transformer chatter that even vibrates thru to the inside the wall.Other than that, it does what it should.Will likely return it.

EXCELLENT unit but i would suggest an astronomical timer (eg ST700W) instead of a mechanical timer or dawn/dusk sensor. You can get it without that stuff, direct from Volt for less money.
