I bought this more for my hair than my beard ...which is short ...but apparently too short for this brush to be effective. Which is fine. Because I bought it primarily to tame my awkward stage hair as I grow it out.This is a quality product, fit and finish are nice and the brush has a solid feel to it. The handle is rubberized and provides a comfortable grip. When you plug the brush in the temperature window shows "OFF". Push the power button for a long second until you see the default temperature (360deg) in the window. Push the button to cycle through the temperature settings. Once set, the brush heats fairly quickly.I can't comment on how it works on beards because you need at least a good inch to two inches of growth for it to work; I'm a little shy on that. For my hair, which is about 4-5 inches long, the brush works great at smoothing and taking out some excess curl and wave. As in for beards, you use the brush on dry hair. Before using it on your hair rub in a light dose of argan oil or heat protectant. The brush is just the right size making it easy to hold and maneuver and it's a good travel size as well; it comes with a storage/travel bag. The only glitch I've found is when I grab the handle it is easy to push the temperature button and raise the setting.Overall it's a nice brush that works great, no matter what head hair you use it for.

I bought this product because of the 5 heat settings. Have used 2 times from time of receipt of Aberlite Pocket. I particularly like using this heated comb to get my beard to lay flat. Once I am finished using the heated Aberlite Pocket Beard Straightener, I then apply beard wax as a final touch to hold my beard in place for the day. Works well. Has made a big difference in beard appearance. I recommend this product.

I use this for my medium length hair on my head, because most straightening tools are made for women with long hair. It works so well with very little risk of scalding or burns. I love the way my hair looks after using it. My hair is crazy curly and not in a handsome way either. It’s perfect for taming bed head also! I am so happy I found this product.

I like the product so far - only used it twice. It was delivered quickly and I could use it right out of the box. I was however miffed that they stuck two promotional stickers on the handle 1) for a promotional (free) product and one for the warranty. First, does anyone like peeling gummy adhesive off any new product? No. It’s an annoyance especially when the same stickers are also on the manual. You didn’t need to put it in two places. Second, to get the free product or register for the warranty, you have to provide all of your information including your phone number AND submit a product review on Bolo. While I can understand this for the free product (nothing is truly free, blah, blah, blah), I shouldn’t have to provide it for a warranty. BS business process. Take better care of your customers and stop shaking them down for their personal information unnecessarily. Basic principles of data security - ask for only what you need and stop data mining. It’ll earn you two additional stars in the future. Until then - everyone should take away two stars until you change your practice.

It does work, but it's difficult to get shorter beard hair through the elements. Mostly it just drags over the tops of the tines.

I absolutely love this device. It heats up quick and it's so easy to use on the beard. Perfect for medium to long haired beards.I love not only that it straightens the hair, but how soft beard hair feels after it's straightened even without having any product in.The smaller length in bristles makes it easier to brush through the beard. I've had ones with larger faces and it was just awkward and took a lot longer to get the results I wanted.This is 100% an amazing purchase you won't regret.

So I never write reviews but I feel I should for this. I just got it and used it for the first time. To be honest I was skeptical at first about these in general but I never thought it would work this good. My beard is pretty thick and curly, and my god... My beard has NEVER felt this Soft or been this Straight ever. I hope this lasts a long time cause it's so good!!!
