I purchased this kit, sent in my sample, four months later still no results, I have emailed them three times and left over six voicemails and no one will ever call you back, there’s no way to speak to anyone at this company. I would not recommend this product! It was a waste of money, and now I have no way to get my money back.

Due to COVID-19, it has been hard to see a doctor and get a regular checkup, which is why I was interested in at home hormone test really stuck out to me. The kit is nicely designed and comes with 3 testing tubes, three straws, and three labels. I found the instructions simple and easy to follow. After doing some research, the company, Verisana, has made a few different hormone kits and the testing seems to be held to a higher quality in Germany. Although it was a bit of an inconvenience to send my samples over to Germany via mail, my results came back relatively quickly and with lots of in-depth information. If you have been unable to reach your doctor in this current health crisis situation, I would recommend trying this product!

Compared to other hormone tests, I like how this one uses saliva, as other types of samples can skew the results. Further, the test should be taken within a specific time during one’s cycle, which also ensures the results are accurate. After COVID-19, there have been increased wait times to be seen by doctors, especially specialists, which is why Verisana’s at-home testing kits are so convenient.This test is very easy to do. Make sure to read the requirements of the test ahead of time in order to follow the instructions, which work to yield accurate results. Also, be sure to avoid consuming certain foods (dairy, meat, etc.) that can impact hormone levels, thus skewing the results. By testing 1) Progesterone, 2) Estradiol, 3) DHEA, 4) Cortisol, and 5) Testosterone, one will be able to have a better picture of their health and how hormone levels align with symptoms. Overall, this test gives you a report of your hormone levels that will allow you to take control of monitoring your own health.
