5.0 out of 5 stars Yes... It Really Does Work!

Having recently tried several versions of this product, this particular silicone tape works the best of the bunch -- and it is the most cost effective.Begin treatment once fully healed (typically about 7-14 days). Just cut the tape a bit longer and wider than the scar. Apply to clean and dry skin. It works best on recent scars. However, to my pleasant surprise, this silicone tape is effective in significantly reducing old scars as well (individual results will vary).Individual skin sensitivity to silicone also varies. Most folks tolerate silicone tape without issue. It is recommended to apply for 4 hours for the first few days and gradually increase contact time to 12-16 hours per day. I had no reaction to lengthy and continuous daily exposure -- other than a visible and welcome reduction in scarring. I have been using this product daily for the past 12 days and am very pleased with the results on several small to medium new and even old scars. The only qualm I have with this product is with the advertised claims about reusability. In my experience, it is not practical to reuse this tape as it does not adhere well when reapplied. Despite meticulous cleaning, if previously used, the tape rarely adheres properly. Also, slightly trimming off the square corners of the tape patch will reduce the likelihood of it lifting during normal daily activities. On the whole, this silicone tape works quite well in reducing visible scarring. It is easy to apply, remains on the skin reasonably well, and if properly and consistently applied, the results will put a smile on the face of most folks. It certainly did mine.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great scar/stitched area treatment
I have a rather large scar on my leg after a cyst removed. Dermatologist recommended silicone tape for treatment! Better for scars and to protect it just after stitches removed and still healing. No itching and it’s helping the healing process!
4.0 out of 5 stars Good for After Surgery
After surgery, I had to use these. Overall, they're very nice and got the job done. I just wish they had the option to have these in a thinner roll. My scars were small, so I had to cut this in half. They still did the job though, so I'm not complaining.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great
This is the first of this type of product I tried. I’ve since tried one other similar product and this is my favorite. It’s very flexible. I’m using it after surgery on my foot so I cut off a small section and it has to mold around curves of my big toe joint in both directions. It sticks well and is easy to apply. The other product I tried was much less flexible and the silicone was too gooey and hard to apply for my specific needs.
5.0 out of 5 stars So effective
I almost never write Bolo reviews but felt compelled to leave one for this product. Almost a year ago I got attacked by a dog. I actively took care of my wounds for the entire healing process and once I was able, used another brand of scar tape that was far less effective. I was beginning to think that my scars would just always be highly visible on my arms and legs and stopped applying or buying the tape after about 6 months. A few weeks ago, I decided to try this brand on a whimafter suffering a cooking incident on my hand. I also applied to my old scars from the dog attack. I can't tell you how much my year old scars have healed up and now are SO much less noticeable. It's really unbelievable. The noticeable difference started after just a few times of overnight application. I am very grateful for this product.
3.0 out of 5 stars Idk
Easy to use. Doesn't stick the greatest. Doesn't really do anything to help with my scars at all. I use it to sleep kind of like a wrinkle patch? But for scars, it's not helped at all. For wrinkles, it helps quite a bit but I do have to make it thicker because it's quite flimsy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Feels okay.
The media could not be loaded. I hope it works as what I read. After c section, I do feel it helps ease of pain a little. It’s really easy to use. Just cut the size you want and put it on. The longevity is good. It stays like whole day. At least it keeps the spot moisture.
5.0 out of 5 stars Worked in a week
I had a small scar from mohs that would not heal after four years and trying everything, so i bought this stuff and within a week most of it came off.
Fácil de usar y cumple su función
(function(){ P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function'){ A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })() Buenos resultados
Work like a magic 🪄
it healed my insect bite scar within a few days! Really amazing product! Don’t try to use this for wrinkles taping will not work!
Good
Glue is great but very thin
لاصق جيد
جيد والاثر لازال ولكن خف قليلا
Not too bad
Having tried several silicone tapes, on my long scar, I can say the following:Great stickinessEasy to readjustGreat priceGreat thickness and widthCon:It’s not as soft as other tapesSo if like me you still suffer from swelling around the wound, find a softer taper and use this one when swelling is no longer an issue, as it doesn’t stretch well and can cause pain.
