Canned baked beans are not for everyone, but I really like them. It may be a comfort food given I ate plenty as a kid. Although I try to eat healthy, I'm not a healthy food absolutist. I do buy fresh organic fruits and vegetables, mostly sourced from local farms if possible to subsidize our small backyard garden. But replicating some things like canned baked beans can take a lot of time and don't always come out quite the same as what I am hoping.I've tried multiple canned baked beans and some were too sweet, too mushy, had off flavors, have ingredients with names too long to read, or are very overpriced organic brands. Then I found 365 Organic Traditional Baked Beans. At less than HALF the price I was paying per can for a different brand, I found this to have almost the exact same flavor, consistency (not mushy/not too firm), very basic ingredients, and is still organic. Honestly, I cannot be more satisfied with this product.The ONLY knock is that in almost every can I have opened so far, I have found 1-2 beans that looked different from all the rest. They looked like kidney beans, distinct from the rest. That said, they tasted the same, and really were unnoticeable had I not seen them before eating them. The don't bother me one bit. But it could suggest their sourcing/sorting may not be 100% perfect.For me, this product hits all the right marks and if you like canned baked beans, prefer organic, and are someone who looks at prices...this is a GREAT choice.

These baked beans are incredibly delicious and nutritious. They offer great value for the price, and the can is easy to open. Although a pop-top lid would have been more convenient, overall, I highly recommend these baked beans.

Baked beans need a little sugar and ketchup and mustard. Some cut up hot dogs for a very frugal, hearty lunch winter meal (heated). Most vegetables give you flatulence (that is strong smelling gas), this is considered a low quality culture item and that is bit unfair. This dish does that substantially and is likely the reason. Very modest satisfying little meal. Mostly broccoli and I wouldn't stop eating it. Get Marci Allison blush, please. Rebecca A. Dokter Grelson

Delicious and the ingredients are great! I’ve had a hankering for baked beans but couldn’t find any canned baked beans with clean ingredients until I found this one! Delicious and I don’t feel guilty for eating them

The flavor was bland, which is ok because I could spice them up, but the beans were hard. Perhaps cooking for a lenght of time might soften them. Should have just tried one can, but I bought 3 because of them being organic. Also, I do not like receiving a dented can.

This is a good canned baked bean option. This was my first time trying it and I was pleased. I think they are just as good as the big brand. I hope they start doing different baked bean styles too. My can was not dented. I liked the small can but would order a larger one. I had this as a side dish.

Great product and ordered 10 at a time at least twice...but the downsize was how dented and damaged the cans were! The shipping and handling needs to be done a bit more carefully.
Very tasty.
I luv these beans and have ordered twice now. My last order arrived all dented.. well, 3 of 6 cans had big dents..I will eat these first. Loose cans in a box doesn't help the courier in not damaging the product..I will order again as they have great ingredients and are tasty.
Potential serious health risk from seriously dented can of beans
For use by vulnerable members of a patient group who are choosing organic for healthy, clean, food. However, this is the second dented can in two days. Although the can has no visible leaks, micro holes can and do exist in damaged cans. I learned of this working at a litigation firm that represented a woman who was seriously made ill by a can of soup that had micro holes. The lab report found the tiny, tiny holes. That's an important learning lesson for me. Also, the best-before dates are unreadable due to the printing on the corrugated part of the can's bottom.
Sauce is kinda sweet....
I love baked beans and sometimes just want a quick meal. I really like that this brand has organic ingredients, BPA free packaging (important when purchasing acidic base items like tomato sauce) However the one thing I would change is this sauce is very sweet. There is not much taste other than the white beans in this sweet/not very tomatoe-y sauce, so I had to add all kinds of spices (garlic and onion powder, chili) to change it.
