5.0 out of 5 stars Work just like dryer sheets!
I was skeptical of using dryer balls, but after using these for several weeks, I am happy with them. Clothes come out as soft and wrinkle-free just as if I had used dryer sheets. The only items that develop static are things like nylon or lightweight polyester, and a few quick shakes of the items removes the cling. And my sheets seem softer than ever! At this low price, I would recommend at least trying these out.
5.0 out of 5 stars Buy this Product for Healthier Living __AND__ to Save Money not something that often occur in Unison
Healthy Living Practices and Saving Money are often diametrically opposed. Well not with this product.First you ditch the chemical ridden dryer sheets or liquid fabric softener with a product that will last you for years. This saves money and helps those in your fsmily that have sensitive skin. Skin problems seem to be a growing epidemic in this country and we often take for granted that our skin is our largest organ. Then we put chemically soaked clothes, towels and sheets against our bodies and wonder why our skin is red, itchy, and scaley. You can add a couple of drops of an essential oil if you want some fragrance, and again that is a far healthier option.Just throw the balls in the dfyer and not only does it keep the fabrics soft, but the dryer cycle finishes more quickly saving electricity. This can be a hard metric to quantify as there are so many factors that lead to the amount of dring time needed, but it really does seem to dry faster. Its probanly due to the wool balls mai taining some air space between garments with the balls size and weight. The only negative: you'll have to pull the balls out from your dry clothes when removing the clothes from your dryer.they like to hide.I paid full rpice for this item. Its not very expensive and no one likes me enough yo send me free products to review. Therefore you know my review is 100% OPEN & HONEST. I take the time to post reviews since Bolo is a great place to buy things and since there are often helpful reviews posted by users. Its so frustrating to have to sift thru the useless reviews that often contain only a few words with few details and sometimes are not even a review of the actual product, but of shipping time, a shipping error, etc.Yes they are organicYes they are 100% woolYes your dogs will mistake them for chew toys if you leave them outYes they would probably be great for learning to juggle or for somewhat safe game of catch in the house (try at your own risk)UPDATE: The only issue that I can possibly see with this product is that since it's not disposable like dryer sheets, or used up like liquids, you need to pull them out of your dryer load for reuse. This can be a bit annoying as with items like sheets, or towels they can get wrapped up in the load and 'hide' from you. It's well worth this annoyance for the savings of electricity and purchase of chemical ridden products. My solution is to buy a second bag so I'll have enough and then when the laundry gets put away, we'll recover the balls that were elusive. We have so many towels and sheets, that we often don't fold and put them away right away. If you do, you would not likely have this problem. I still give this a 5 star review and I am ordering more right now.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product
We use these dryer balls with every load. They are excellent quality and lasts quite a long time.
4.0 out of 5 stars Quiet
I’ve used dryer balls in the past, but they were plastic and made quite a racket so I used them sparingly. After reading all the adverse reactions to clothing using fabric softeners, I was eager to try these balls. While I haven’t noticed my laundry to be any softer, I have noted it takes less time for a load of laundry to dry. The manufacturer suggests applying a few drops of essential oil to the balls to add scent to your laundry which I tried. I didn’t find this helped scent my clothing but perhaps I did not add enough? Still, they do prevent some wrinkling and static cling.
5.0 out of 5 stars Game changer!
These things are amazing! I do not know why I used dryer sheets or liquid softener instead of dryer balls for the past 25+ years. I was hesitant to replace the dryer sheets but so glad I did. A full load of towels/whites dried in 20-25 minutes the first time I tried the balls (using only 2). It used to take 30-35 minutes. I have not noticed a huge difference in dry time on the delicate cycle yet but I think it is more my dryer’s fault; also helped when I added an additional ball. They are a little noisy in the dryer at first but I don’t notice it after 5 or so minutes and it isn’t bothersome even though I despise most noises. There is no scent to the balls so my clothes just smell like my detergent. My clothes do not come out wrinkled (same as with dryer sheets). My clothes, towels, etc feel just as soft as with dryer sheets or fabric softener. I have told my friends to try these and after giving my mother a couple to try she is hooked and I bought her some of her own 2 days ago. I am not getting anything for this review, I just want people to know how wonderful they are and to give dryer balls a chance. The energy savings alone is enough but saving money by not having to buy softener or dryer sheets is an added bonus.
5.0 out of 5 stars dryer balls
I have been using these for a few days and they do seem to be a good alternative to dryer sheets.

I have bought wool dryer balls that were $30 for three, $20 for 6, and these. I cannot tell which are which. I paid about $12 for the first set of the kintor I bought three years ago, and am still using them. We have an extra extra large dryer so for bigger loads I use 8 or 9 balls. I have bought several sets since then including two more last week. They were priced at $6-$7 recently so I bought some for my mother and also my daughter in law. I will get another for myself at this price. They tend to disappear and reappear later so I always make sure to have extras. Also they can turn darker with dark colored loads after awhile, and hget smaller and more compact. I use the oldest ones with husbands work clothes and old blankets covered in cat hair. Newest are saved for only my microfiber cloths, and delicates and new whites. The kids put 6 or 7 on and when they are done there is only 3 or 4 so they don't get the newest ones. They work great and save tons of money we used to spend on dryer sheets. It took awhile for the kids to convert, they liked that smell, despite all the toxic chemicals. But we just put a couple drops of E.O. on a few balls the last fifteen mins on air dry and the clothes smell great. I am extremely pleased with this brand. They are safer for my family and the environment and are a bargain!!!
Dryer balls
Work well in tumble dryer. A little extra noise but to be expected. Gives towels some extra softness and helps washing from getting tangled also drying time reduced. Good product.
They work nicely, but keep them out of feline hands. ;)
Overall, I'm quite happy with the KINTOR Wool Dryer Balls. I'd definitely buy them again.I've been using mine for about 6 weeks now. We don't use dryer sheets (for allergy reasons). I'm happy to report that there's been about a 50-75% static reduction overall (depending on the fabric). Definitely less wrinkles. Fluffier type items like towels, robes, blankets particularly feel much softer and more pleasant on the skin. Less wrinkles on the fabrics prone to wrinkling as well. In general they do dry the load faster, so its only thicker fabrics that still sometimes need a partial second dry (rather than a full 2nd cycle of drying). I've used them in about 30 loads so far, and show no signs at all of falling apart.Updated to add: Used these for the first time to dry a pair of feather pillows. They worked fabulously! I no longer have to throw in a pair of runners into the wash/dryer to get these pillows properly fluffed. As an added bonus, it no longer sounds like an artillery barrage when I wash/dry the pillows. Also, I noticed when I washed the cat beds (first time with them as well) that the dryer balls seemed to vacuum up the majority of the small amount of left over cat fur that didn't end up in the dryer vent. (I use a fur removal mitt before washing to reduce the fur on the beds.) After the next few loads, I didn't see any extra feline fur on the fabrics, so it seems that the dryer balls don't release most of the cat fur they vacuum up. It is a bit hard to tell if any are released, as there is always a tiny amount of fur on some fabrics with or without dryer balls!Update #2: I hadn't planned to update again, but I just found another thing that these dryer balls do: they stop the accidental kleenex bits from clinging to your clothes and instead send them into the dryer filter! First time I've never had to pick staticy bits of kleenex off all the clothing when a tissue sneaks into the wash. Woo!
