I give it a 3 star because the best part is that the patch is easy to apply and clean, no messy cream or ointment. As far as it works for pain, its very little but some. I recommend using horse "Asorbentine" rub. Its messy putting on but it works great!!!

I use Salonpas for back & neck pain.It’s the only product I’ve ever found that works.Sometimes my lower back is in such pain that I walk like an old woman, then if I apply a patch to my lumbar area, I can literally mow the lawn after only a few minutes.It’s a Godsend.
