The pros know that when it comes to coffee, the slower it's brewed the better it tastes.

5.0 out of 5 stars My go to for iced coffee.
The flavor is great, it is convenient and the price is right- especially since I buy mine with subscribe and save. The cold brew is shelf stable, so I buy 6 at a time and always have it on hand. I like to drink mine as an iced mocha with my breakfast.
5.0 out of 5 stars As a coldbrew snob this is the best I have found for pre-made store bought cold brew
*November 2021 Edit:*While I love this cold brew and still believe the product is 5 stars (so I won't be stupid and drop stars for it since the ratings are a depiction of the product itself and not how much it costs or how it was delivered), it is absolutely not worth the $13+ they're charging for it now. At $7-$8 it was a good value because it was about 50-60oz of total cold brew for $8 (when mixed with water) but even at the $8 mark it was little pricey for most people.I went back to just making my own. I can buy a $20 bag of amazing locally roasted beans and throw them in a cold brew filter bag for 24hrs with some water and have the *fresh* coffeeshop cold brew experience in my home. My recipe (get a decent centigram scale and a burr grinder): 7:1 water to light roast (yes light roast - it's still very strong but with more clarity to the flavors) coffee at a medium coarse grind. ie for every 700ml of water I have 100 grams of coffee. The filter bags make it virtually zero mess by allowing you to remove them from your mason jar and tossing them out and it's a far superior product as a result. That $20 worth of great locally roasted coffee will make me about 3x-4x the amount that this $13-$14 carton of cold brew will. You don't even need fancy coffee but I choose to because it's better than the bulk bins at the store and still cheaper than this stuff even when I was paying $8 a bottle but getting a $10/lb bean will do at least as good a job as this Califia cold brew.Old Review (TLDR: great flavor used to recommend before almost doubling in price).I see a lot of reviews saying it's sour. That is just a characteristic of some cold brew. If you want a cold brew that tastes *closer* to your typical craft coffee shop cold brew then this is the one you want. This isn't gonna be some bold and bland cold brew you get from starbucks or a dunkin donuts. A lot of people buy this expecting a strong coffee but don't understand there are different flavor profiles with cold brew. This one is more on the sour side and it feels disingenuous to review it poorly because the flavor profile wasn't your style. It would be like buying an double IPA but only liking Coors light then reviewing the IPA as bad. People don't know what they're buying and it's their fault not the product. For fans of this particular style you will probably really like it compared to other store bought brands. It's a heck of a lot better than Stumptown that's for sure and a lot less money too.The real benefit of this cold brew is that it's a concentrate so you can make it as light or strong as you'd like. I tend to go 60% concentrate to 40% water and it makes it strong but without overwhelming your mouth. 50/50 makes it crisp and flavorful but not too strong. Highly recommend it for those who like good cold brew but don't want to spend $5 on an 8oz pour at a coffee shop everyday. It's the closest to that experience as I have found.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good cold brew
Nutty flavor - enjoyed it
3.0 out of 5 stars Extremely bitter
I would never buy this again. My son and I both agree very bitter. I had to add a lot of cream to be able to drink it. The directions say equal amounts of the coffee concentrate with a liquid. i used water not wanting to have an equal amount of cream. Their regular iced brew is good. Just stay away from the concentrate.
5.0 out of 5 stars Strong flavor in a likely to be recycled container
What's not to love? This is one of the most flavorful cold brews I've tasted. If you want that boldness with less caffeine, a little of this goes a long way. I get more servings than is on the carton. Mix with your fave milk or alternative, maybe a spot of choco syrup, foam with your home handheld frother, and voila! Homemade gourmet beverage for a fraction of the cost compared to ordering out. Meaningful bonuses: ethically sourced and packaged in a cardboard container instead of plastic.
5.0 out of 5 stars stronger than chameleon
We like this because it's stronger (more concentrated) than Chameleon so we get more servings out and it's cheaper too. This is a 1:1 dilution, whereas Chameleon says 2 parts coffee to one part water. (it used to be stronger, but they changed it). I hope Califia doesn't get the same idea!
1.0 out of 5 stars Just make your own cold brew
It is awful. Here’s what you should do:1. Invest in a burr coffee grinder. You can get a workable one here on Bolo for like $402. Find a local coffee roaster you like and buy a medium-dark roast, espresso roasts often work great.3. Grind whole beans to a coarse grain, maybe one click lower than the coarsest setting on your machine. Alternatively, ask the coffee roaster to grind for you, but use the grounds asap.4. In a pitcher/bucket/large jar/any container that seals, use the following ratio: 1lbs coffee : 2L/quarts water. Add a finger or two extra water, as the grounds will absorb a fair amount. Try to fill as close to the top as possible.5. Place in fridge and set a timer for 18 hours. This is the sweet spot. Hundreds of batches made professionally here. 18 hours.6. Agitate halfway, making sure that grounds are all fully soaked and not floating on top.7. Pour through mesh strainer to remove large grounds and press to get out trapped liquid.8. Run liquid through paper filter twice more. This will remove silt and drastically improve flavor.9. DO NOT DRINK STRAIGHT. This is concentrate and it is jet fuel.10. I usually do 1:1 ratio concentrate and water and drink black, but season to taste with sugar and cream. Also tastes great heated in microwave.Don’t buy this. It tastes awful. Support your local coffee roasters and make your own.
5.0 out of 5 stars Taste and convenience
First I thought it was pricey, but gave it a try. Perfect when you don't have time to brew or wait for cold brew. I add it to my oatmeal/milk for extra flavor and kick.
