    This is a delicious canned tuna. Some of the flavor is the result of being packed in premium Spanish olive oil. I had not eaten tuna packed in oil for years due to extra fat and calories. So now I am used to the flavor when packed in water. This tuna is tender and easy to transform into tuna salad. Reminds me of what tuna tasted like when I was a kid. The high quality tins in which the tuna is packed are easy to get open but contain only 3.95 oz. of tuna each. The price is high as you might expect for an imported product. It’s a treat but too costly for every day.

    I eat a lot of specialty tuna, and this is the best I have had so far. I am a well known (to my friends and family) food snob, and I am deeply impressed with this tuna.I got the plainest version in olive oil. And it really has a lovely texture, flavor, and is an excellent portion for one person. I can see it will have many applications, and can't wait to make salade nicoise for example, but my first try was as simple as could be: Just opened a can and had it with fresh steamed rice, avocado and tomato, with a spritz of lime juice. Perfect!I have had a lot of health issues and finding a protein source like this one is a delight. This offers so much protein, in such a dense package of tasty nutrients. Thank you. PS: I also love the sailboat graphic and the vibrant colors. This cries out for some sort of upcycling art project!

    I’ve had perfect cans no damage every order. Good flavor and consistency of tuna. I’d recommend it. It’s even nice enough that you could eat it at your desk and I don’t think anyone would guess you’d opened a can of tuna.

    I have liked many Ortiz products and was slightly disappointed when I first tried this as chunks in a salad, as it is too dry to use like that. I tried it again by mashing it thoroughly along with the oil that comes in the can, adding a little mayonnaise, finely chopped pickles, and scallions, and I loved the taste. So whatever you do I'd recommend mashing it with its oil and you should enjoy it.
