The shackle lock is beefy and heavy which is what you want in a shackle lock. The locking pins are center oriented rather then edge oriented. I don't know enough about locks and keys to know if that makes them any more secure but at least it is different. The cable lock seems to be very cut resistant but is suprisingly light for the size and length of the cable.I bought 2 sets for my ebike and will probably get 1 more.

Just make sure you lock your bike with this to a rack or something solid and stationary. Had my bike stolen 4 months ago cause here in NC there are NO bike racks. Had the back tire locked and the drug addict picked up the back and rolled away with it. He ditched the bike BECAUSE the lock is heavy duty and someone else took off with it. You can also get a cable with this lock to be safe.

The lock felt very sturdy, and I often tried to pull it apart with my hands to test its strength, finding it very resistant to force.The lock features an integrated disk keyed locking mechanism, which was straightforward to use, though I'm not entirely familiar with the technical details of this mechanism. However, each time I used the lock, it required a bit of effort to lock and unlock efficiently. This could be due to the lock's solid construction, which, while providing security, also made it slightly cumbersome to operate.The description mentioned a vinyl coating, which I'm not entirely sure about in terms of its function or appearance. However, the lock looks well-made and durable. Its weight is significant, which is a positive aspect in terms of security but made it inconvenient to carry in a backpack. Don't recommend this product at all, the holder broke after less than 5 uses and the quality of the lock doesn't seem great. Better to spend a bit more and get something decent.
