5.0 out of 5 stars Happy camper
Huge size, super long shelf life, great for stews, etc anything where you use onions, convenience of not having to peel onions and tearing up while doing so, great value due to size of tin. This company puts out a lot of great stuff. Slowly building up my pantry. No taste different between onions and this product
5.0 out of 5 stars Product is recommended
Was surprised at how tasty this product was. It’s great in soups, stews and just about anything you want to cook. If you soak product for 15-20 minutes, it tastes just like fresh onions. Will purchase product again.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use in cooking and tastes good
I got this to be able to make meals in a jar for when I'm working outside the home. I also put together meals in a jar to sell at my local farmers market and so far everything is been fantastic. I highly recommend this brand. The cost was reasonable and the contents were fresh.
5.0 out of 5 stars looks good to me TWENTY FIVE YEAR shelf life
If you sort reviews by most recent, one of the reviews says that their can is way over expiration. They included a pic, and I can see that they misinterpreted the info. Theirs says that the LOT (batch) date is Nov 2021 (09Nov21), but if you look over a little, the EXPIRATION date is still TWENTY FIVE years out! 2046! (09Nov46).Many emergency food companies use #10 (as in, number 10, not 10 pound). So various weights of food will be packed in these standard containers whether it fills up or not. That means it is possible to have a full can of one style of food, and half a can of another style. Ultimately you are buying weight, not volume. You are not being gipped. You are only being gipped if the weight comes in lower than stated on package. Companies can give more, but they are not supposed to allow less (FYI, next time you go to the store you may be able to get more bang for buck by weighing a 2lb bag of carrots. It could be pushing 3 lbs depending on what you grab for. It just cant be less than 2 lbs, stuff like that.. )Anway, I bought this as emergency food. I only buy emergency food when on sale, and am slowly amassing a stock. I normally stick to normal canned stuff, bagged stuff, and rotate through my short term and long term pantry. But when I see an emergency food item, I will pick it up if the price it right. When it comes to these onions, I figured I would grab a can since it was on sale, and happened to be less than cost of my usual bagged dehydrated onions. I have no intention to open it any time soon. Can looks good, weight seems spot on. No issues or concerns at this time.
4.0 out of 5 stars Nice
Love the flavour but there are really hard bits to be aware of. Random but hard if not expected, otherwise great and let marinate.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best way to keep food without it going bad use what you need no waste absolutely perfect
I dislike ..Nothing this Is amazing to use in recipes and in any dish really the smell and taste is just as fresh as if you were to use a whole onion the seal was perfectly great value for the size and amount.the ease of cooking ,convenience the size of onions and the texture is great it's a must buy
5.0 out of 5 stars Part of pantry products. Great value

5.0 out of 5 stars Using these onions for many dishes. Delicious!
The ease of chopped onions, smell, and taste is wonderful. Not having the onions go bad before the next use is priceless. I wish I would of purchased these years ago. Just ❤️ love this product.

Nice Pic: tell you in 20 years if there any good.Keep on prepping.
Good quality
Great for prepping
AWESOME product
They had a great taste and were awesome in all my recipes!
Can dented, seal compromised. Twice.
Twice now I have ordered cans of Augason dehydrated chopped onions and they were both dented near the end seam. This is food that is intended to last 25 years, and be available for emergency use, a dent near any seam is unacceptable. They were not damaged in shipping, the boxes showed no damage. Why are these cans even being shipped ? Returned both. Hopefully I can find another brand.
Overpriced AF
I don't understand why this is so overpriced and expensive. Also said 217 servings, which is BS. I used it 4 times iny meal prep and it's empty. You can buy dehydrated onion for way cheaper than this, I wouldn't waste the money. I think their big thing is extended shelf life because of the vacuum sealed metal tin. So if you want to store it for 10 years in your bunker, then this is the stuff for you. Otherwise, get the cheaper stuff.
