However, the numbers are narrower. As a negative review mentioned, there are no comma's in the display, but there is a decimal point.I purchased the Bolo Basics calculator on the left to use at work in a distribution center to verify counts. While it worked perfectly in most instances; Sometimes I needed something smaller when I was operating certain types of equipment. That is why I ordered this Casio. It was small, inexpensive and I wouldn't cry if anything happened to it at the DC.It is small. It is light.If you have large fingers, you may have problems with the buttons.Because of it's light weight, you may forget you have it in a pocket. Or forget it and lose it.So far it's worked perfectly for how I use it. While I need + 1 reading glasses often at work for my equipment mounted computer and RF Gun, I do not need them to read the screen on this calculator with the lighting in the warehouse.If I were to lose this calculator, I would probably spend $2 more for the slightly larger Casio to try it out, because is seems to have a little more substance to it.Overall, I'm happy with this calculator. It fits pretty much anywhere and is doing exactly what I bought it for perfectly.You will have to be careful with it though. Because it's so thin and light, I doubt that it is very durable.There are reviews about this item not being returnable. In my case, the calculator works fine and a return wasn't necessary.Due to the cost of the calculator and shipping, I understand why it wouldn't be returnable due to "buyers remorse". However, if it arrived, wasn't working and can't be returned, that is another issue.

The Mrs. needed a basic and compact calculator to carry in her laptop bag and this one met the criteria. Compact and with the basic functions and features that she needed. It's a Casio, which we've found to be reliable and long-lasting in the past.

Large (for its size) display is easy to read and has nice high contrast. These old Casio HS 8VA calculators have been around a long time but are still the best in their size range and really inexpensive to boot.

3.5 Stars, Works well, Affordable, My only real complaint is the Calculator is so light You have to "chase it around" to be able to use it. Needs some type of rubber pads/dots to keep it fm moving around. Well worth what They sell.it for. Best, PawPaw C

This calculator is surprisingly (almost laughingly) small and not what I expected - but that’s on me for not realizing the actual size! Still, it’s a great tool to have and I plan to keep it in a kitchen drawer for quick household access. I just bought a larger version for crunching numbers at my desk for work.
