I have an IBD called Microscopic Colitis. Long story short, I can only eat/tolerate white rice and chicken.It's been almost two years now, and I have not reached remission or been able to tolerate other food.I've tried many different white rice brands and varieties, including Different Jasmine White Rice, but this one is superior to all. I love this rice. It's also one of the most expensive, but it's worth every penny!!!I cook it 2 to 1 but with just a little extra water. After 30 minutes, I turn off the heat and let it sit for another 10.Perfect rice. I like the creamy texture and sweet nutty flavor.

I love sushi. I realized, though, what I really enjoy is the sushi rice. I do like the raw fish but ordering a sushi from my local Japanese restaurant sets me back about $25 per meal. I now prepare this sushi rice for my own dishes (chicken, beef, actually any protein I like). I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I will say that 25#'s of rice takes up a lot of room, so I also purchased a 22 quart food storage container with a lid. It all works perfectly for. Bon apetit!The preparation instructions don't happen to be printed on the bag of rice, but if you go to the ordering page on Bolo and enlarge the Measurement and Instructions screen and follow them to the letter, your rice should be perfectly cooked.I don't even try to roll the rice as they do for sushi in a Japanese restaurant.

I have purchased this rice three times already. Yes, we love rice in our family. We are picky about what we eat. Lundberg has been very consistent. I was reluctant at first but it arrived in great condition. When I opened the bag, it smells fresh. Sometimes even in stores you get a bag of brown rice that has some musty smell. But that has never happened with Lundberg. So it passes the freshness test.The rice appearance is very pleasant. They are uniform and clean. I have not seen any impurities in the rice. It is very easy to wash. A couple of rounds of rinse is all it needs.We cook it in our zojirushi rice cooker on Brown Rice setting. It comes out perfect. It is fluffy and tastes great. I meshed some up for my 8 month old a couple days ago so it was a bit more sticky and he loved it too. So, it certainly passed the taste test.It is organic which is important because rice is one of the most polluted crops. Organic is the way to buy rice. Healthy, check!Price is great on Bolo. It is cheaper than the bulk organic rice At Wholefoods. In fact, I saw them refilling the bin in the store one time and they were pouring from a bag of Lundberg! So this rice is of great value.For all those reasons, we have this on auto ship. If you love good rice, you will love this product.

I always buy Lundberg organic rice. It tastes great, I can buy in 25 lb bulk size and with allergies to wheat and multiple chemical sensitivities in our family to fungicides, pesticides and shelf life extenders, we know we can always count on the bulk Lundberg rice to be safe to eat. It always arrives well packaged and in perfect condition. Never any nasty surprises (insect or rodent evidence) I have occasionally seen in some grain products. Just good clean rice.This particular long grain white rice I purchased this time tastes just as good as the other types of Lundberg rice I have eaten. The family thinks so too.

I have ordered a few bags from this company and find the rice is very flavorful just remember sometimes other shippers say short grain brown rice but look closely they will say semi polished and so forth this is the real deal no processing ,taste is wonderful and also they freshness stamp the bag because of the oil content of this grain ,don't leave it sitting around for more than six months it well become rancid, this explains why the Chinese polish their rice white white, to store forever, they are quick to refund if any product is damaged in shipping and no need to return items.

Great quality brown rice !
First time buying the big bag of Lundberg's regular short grain brown rice. Normally we buy the organic golden rose medium grain brown rice, but in an effort to save some money on our rising food bills, decided to purchase a non-organic, still eco-farmed variety.Package arrived in good condition, no rips or tears. Bag was not dirty, dusty, or questionably old. The rice is very nice, washes well, and cooks up beautifully in my Zojirushi induction rice cooker, on both regular brown and GABA brown settings. My partner and I both really like the smell and taste, and while it's not organic, I appreciate it's still a responsibly farmed rice, and the cheaper price tag is great for our budgets.Bolo prime options are, of course, a wonderful bonus. I can't even find Lundberg's 11 kg bags in any of my local retail stores, so this is far more economical than constantly buying tiny 900 gr bags of rice.
Best rice i've ever had
Best rice i've ever had! I'm trying to bodybuild and i heard that brown rice is the best natural weight gainer out there. What better than Non-GMO, organic brown rice ^_^I eat it 3-4 times a day, plain and yes it is quite tastey!
