It works well when used for its intended use. Also, it's about the best fuel that I have found with a small alcohol burners. Burns very clean and produces almost no soot. My go-to choice for fuel for my trangia kit.

The yellow Heet bottles work really well in my alcohol camp stoves and lab burners. ISO Heet and grain alcohol do seem to burn a teensy bit hotter, but the methanol in the yellow Heet bottles is WAY cheaper per volume and works fine for my applications. It's not sooty, there aren't any gross fumes, and it's cheap. I do still pack Esbit, and I occasionally use Sterno, but use them far less often than the Heet.

Excellent.. My truck had been sitting for 3 months and...
..when I started it, it started spitting and sputtering. I drove it around the block, but could tell that there was a hit and miss in the sound of the motor. My guess was that water had mixed with the gas (which was almost empty).I added new gas and a bottle of Heet, and the engine now purrs like a kitten.Great stuff! Thank you

The US one is $2.00 the Canadian ones is $15 I think they do it from the US, no French on the label,

I hadn't used my boat one year and there was gas stored two years in the inboard tank. I was worried about water and also the alcohol in the gas separating.The heet product allows the water to burn 🔥. Great stuff.
