About this item:
Super Chamois is a German-made synthetic chamois cleaning cloth manufactured using a special air-spun technology creating a super absorbent, strong, soft and lint free chamois. This unique air-spun process creates thousands of tiny pores (similar to a very, very fine sponge) which allow each cloth to super absorb and hold over 10 times their weight in liquid. The Super Chamois can be used wet or dry for hundreds of indoor and outdoor uses including: spills, autos, boats, RVs, carpet, window and mirrors, tile, ceramic, hardwood, marble, granite, polished metal, shower stalls, refrigerator spills, freezer defrost, clothes, pets and other household needs! Super Chamois are machine washable, re-usable, eco friendly, and can be cut to meet your custom needs. The Super Chamois will not scratch surfaces and will last for years.

Clean up nicely in the washing machine. Generous sizing allows for custom cuts if you need that. No shedding. Plan on ordering more. We have animals and life does get messy. We use these to towel dry the animals if they got soaked to the bone on a rainy day! Keep them handy around the animal water dishes that the people are always bumping into! These make life's messes so much easier!
5.0 out of 5 stars Best Product & Price, Remarkable Product
The most remarkable, non-naturally absorbent material that cleanly picks up and stories many times its weight and volume of light liquids such as water. This is the original brand from Germany and today's Bolo costs are but a fraction of the original (supposedly "sold on TV only"). We have a very specific use, making Bolo the most easily accessed, lowest price, and most secure delivery, than any other source discovered by us to date. This order, offered at additional savings, was nearly a 70% savings with second, larger bulk like proportions.
5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE these. Got them to make reusable wipe heads for my Swiffer Wet Jet, but use them for so many things around the house!
These are really great shammies--they are basically the same exact things as Shamwows, just without the annoying commericals and name brand.I use them all over the house and yard!I have annoying but crazy-loveable small pups who are very, very (maybe too) family oriented. They are mat-trained, with their mats being in a room with linolium flooring. Problem is, they always want to be with their people, so when they do have to go potty, they do the doggy dash and often drip onto the floor (or sometimes miss part of the mat completely). So we keep a swiffer wet jet close by, since we are constantly having to mop the area. I started feeling bad about the environmental aspect of all the disposable mop wipes we were using for it and decided to make some pads I could throw in the laundry. And these are PERFECT for that.Making them is easy--just take an unused mop wipe or duster pad and use it as a size template for your new pads. They cut easily, don't fray, wash well and, even though they say don't put them in the dryer, I always do and have never had any issues with it.I also use them for cleaning rags--especially great for windows. I also use one in my kitchen to place delicate items I've handwashed to dry. I use them whenever we have a spill and I don't feel like dragging the wet-vac out, as well.I even use them to line plant pots for especially finicky plants. They absorb the extra water at watering time, and then release it as the soil dries out--which has been very helpful for a few houseplants I have that are especially sensitive to watering issues.
4.0 out of 5 stars Hard To Beat The Original
These seem to be fairly decent, but maybe a bit less absorbent than the original "Shamwow" product. I still have 1 sheet of the original Shamwow and I tried to do a comparison test using about the same size cut of each. To me, the Shamwow seemed to do the job a bit better. On the plus side, for an equivalent amount of these cloths, you are getting a much better deal with the Super Chamois. How they hold up in relation to the Shamwows that lasted me for about 4yrs. is still unknown. Remember wiping up or cleaning these products using a bleach tends to make them deteriorate faster. Just wash in lukewarm or cold water with a liquid washing detergent. Also, as opposed to what many people do, first wet and wring out these cloths before using them. Also, do not wipe back and forth with these, ONLY BLOT AND/OR WIPE IN ONE DIRECTION for best pickup . If you do that they are excellent for fluid spills, especially on floors. They also work good in blotting fluid from a carpet.
5.0 out of 5 stars Does exactly as claimed
It is hard to get excited about a cleaning wipe, but this one does everything as claimed and does it well. I have used these for years and always reorder when I run out. Good product
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Water Absorbtion
I bought this pack of chamois to replace a set I bought over 15 years ago from a different company. Other than the color, they're exactly the same as far as feel and performance. They REALLY absorb water, better than any microfiber cloth I have used. I bought this new set to use in my shower to wipe down the walls and grout after I've squeegeed the glass. I couldn't be happier with how well they perform.Update 3/8/18:I bought these almost exactly 2 years ago and they are awesome. My husband and I primarily use these in the shower to dry the tile walls after each of our showers. Out of the pack of 6, I’ve used 2 of them for the last 2 years. 1 of the 2 are always in the shower ready for use, while the other is being washed. I wash my towels and the chamois twice a week - no fabric softener - and the chamois is hung on a rack to dry. That’s a lot of use for those 2 chamois and they’re still going strong. Do they look brand new? No...but they still perform just as well as they did when they were brand new. Wipe down the walls, wring them out, and carry on. I love these things. Still.
3.0 out of 5 stars They are just sheets of scratchy rayon and I sort of feel like they were some sort of waste material that was ...
I am not sure what I was doing wrong but no matter how I used these things, I could not get them to be nearly as absorbent as a cotton towel.. In fact, not even close. They are just sheets of scratchy rayon and I sort of feel like they were some sort of waste material that was not needed in the process of making something else, so someone said "Hey, let's sell these as chamois!" Just a theory, of course... I feel like they would be very good as kennel mats and that is probably what I am going to use them for, because they didn't serve me well for drying off wet animals. They might be good for polishing vehicles, but I am not sure. They were cheap enough that I am not bent out of shape over it, but wouldn't buy them again.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for cleaning kitchen counter!
I have been using these Super Chamois for years. I cut each cloth into four pieces and use them in my kitchen and bathroom. Great for cleaning porcelain tubs and sinks after spraying with Scrubbing Bubbles. So many different uses and saves a fortune on paper towels! I usually save the old cloths for other clean-up chores such as wiping down dusty base moldings all around my apartment. Try it! These cloths are not just for cleaning cars.
