(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } this is a great chamois. i was blown away at how nice it polished up the paint during the drying process. took away water spots and left it very very shiny. i've used other drying towels, like the synthetic ones, and they work great to wick away the water. but they also leave behind lint particles. this chamois does not wick away the water quite like the synthetic ones. you have to go over it more than once. but as you dry, you polish (so to say), and it leaves nothing behind but a brilliant shine. very impressed actually. my truck is black, i buff/polish it with mequiar's rotary-type buffing/polishing kit, and this chamois is the perfect finishing touch after washing it. it works great on the windows as well.the only downer was when i opened the package. the description says 4 sq. ft. that does not mean 2'x2'. that means 4 square feet of material. and mine was shaped like a long trapazoid. nowhere near square. so i cut it in half and have 2 nearly square pieces. having started off on the wrong foot right out of the package, i soon was all smiles when i discovered the finishing effect of the chamois. spectacular, to say the least.

Wow, I am very happy with this product. This was larger than what I expected, and at a better price, then what I have paid for in the past, for a smaller version, at the Wally world stores, or at Target. It says it an be used right away, but in the small print, it asks to be rinsed with a small amount of car wash. I washed it before using it, but after that, it quickly absorbs the water, and I can dry my car in no time. When this chamois gets worn out, I will buy this product again.

I rinsed this first but it left streaks and lint on my brand new car with dark paint. I reread the instructions and washed it in Meguiar's car wash soap, then fully rinsed - the streaks were gone but lots of lint still left on the car. I'm going to wash it in my washing machine next (it'll then air dry) to see if that helps. My 20 year old chamois I bought at Walmart still works better than this new one. It's the only Meguiar's product I've ever found that I won't recommend. 7 Feb 2024 Update: I washed on delicate cycle and air dried but it still leaves lots of lint and doesn't work. Recommendation: DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT FOR ANY REASON.

The product I received is indeed a natural chamois. However, the product description ends there. I ordered this because it is described as "super thick" and I was looking for something heavy duty. Disappointingly, it cannot by any measure be considered "super thick". Also, it is nowhere near 4' square. It measures 31 inches on it's longest axis and 24 inches at it's widest.

There is a snafu in Bolo's description which I'm sorry to report is false advertising. While this product is the excellent quality we expect from Meguiar's, it is advertised as "4 feet square". When you look at the actual product, it is labelled as "4 SQUARE FEET". Are we now so mathematically illiterate that we fail to see the actual size is 25% of what was promised in the Bolo description?The one I received, would require some stretching to meet even 4 square feet. Perhaps it would be larger when wet. I wish I would have ordered X2200 larger size.Bolo is not living up to its usual standards of excellence, in describing these products. A naive customer might think they are getting a really large chamois, when actually it is rather small. All the Meguiar's chamois products sold by Bolo are described by Bolo as much larger than the manufacturer says. This over-promise should be corrected ASAP.

Wow what a smell.
I'm trying very hard to use the chammois but their is an very strong awful unbearable smell which does not seem to go away even after washing and soaking for hours numerous times.

Ich habe schon viele Autopflegeprodukte ausprobiert. Die Produkte von Meguiars sind zwar nicht gerade günstig aber wirklich ihr Geld wert. Das Schafsledertuch zum Abledern nach der Wäsche nimmt extrem viel Wasser auf. Es ist sehr robust und trocknet auch wieder schnell. Würde es sofort wieder kaufen.

Très satisfait , petit doute sur la qualité , je n'est pas put beaucoup l'essayer pour l'instant .Mais je pense que c'est quand même un bon produit .Je ne regrette pas l'achat , je le conseille même !Prix correct .
