5.0 out of 5 stars Great
Used to seal my many Christmas Card. Would be nice to be transparent.
5.0 out of 5 stars Help with sealing envelops
works well and doesn't need a lot of water
4.0 out of 5 stars Better moisture consistency
I've gone through a number of bottles from different manufacturers while doing 500-700 solicitation mailings per week over the past couple of years. This one is more expensive than what I could have gotten at the store--they all seem overpriced--but with the winter we're having, it was worth the extra price not to make a special trip to the store. This is the first time I've used this brand and what I've found is a more consistent level of moisture that is easier to control. If you are new to using this type of product, it will take a little getting used to with the "when and how much pressure" to be putting on the bottle. This worked great for me within a couple of swipes. One drawback is that with the bottle not being clear, you can't see how low your water level has gotten. But that's not a big deal as you can feel when you need to refill it.But with all sponge-tipped moisteners I've encountered, the sponge begins to deteriorate with use and eventually you have to replace the entire bottle because it seems no one sells just the sponged caps. I've been using this one for just under 4 weeks and the wear and tear is already obvious. I'm hoping to get 4-5 months use out of it.What would have me giving this a better rating would be either the ability to purchase replacement caps, or have the item packed/sold with 3 or 4 replacements. I'd be willing to pay a little more money if I could get more use out of it and not have shop for them as often. Will I be buying this brand again? Yes, due to more consistency with moisture than I've experienced with other brands, making this easier to use.Amended 2/10/15: Ok, I've been using this for almost a year, sealing almost 14,000 envelopes. Bits of the sponge have been coming off for months now, but you can't say I didn't get my money's worth. I had purchased 2 over a year ago and just started using the second one. I always get the sponge wet by squeezing the bottle over a garbage can. With the new one it did drip for the first 2 envelopes, but has been good since then; apparently once the entire sponge was wet. I would definitely get this brand again.I've increased my rating from 3 to 4 stars due to the amount of use I got out of the first one.
1.0 out of 5 stars Worthless
Hard to get wet enough to seal the envelope without creating a flood. It is more work than it is worth.
3.0 out of 5 stars OK but Should Be Half the Price!
Be warned that this refillable bottle is surprisingly cheaply designed and made. The biggest downside is the lid has nothing but a little friction to hold it on. There are no threads! Had I known it was this cheaply made I would do what I am going to do, not use it but just use a piece of sponge (cut from a sponge) dampened with water in a cut off soda bottle (a bowl could spill easily. With the cut plastic soda bottle I have tall sides & keep water level low. I fear using this bottle could prove a disaster where the top pops off and water dumps everywhere. I wonder if Sparko paid the Chinese more than 5 cents to make this thing!
5.0 out of 5 stars works well
works well. Excellent for the office.
5.0 out of 5 stars which was great. I first had the sponge too wet while ...
Works as expected. I accidentally tipped it on its side on top of my desk and it didn't leak, which was great. I first had the sponge too wet while using it and needed to blot it off with a paper towel. Wasn't a product issue so much as a user issue. Would recommend, beats licking envelopes.
Ça fonctionne bien

Pours water and leaks
Don't waste your money. This leaks and with even the slightest pressure water pours out all over the envelope. You are better off with a damp cloth
