5.0 out of 5 stars Gentle play
In our quest to find a soothing, engaging toy for our young daughter, we decided to try out a set of magic balls designed specifically for little hands. The balls are appropriately sized and come in an appealing array of pastel colours, immediately captivating her attention. Each ball is lightweight and has a smooth finish, making them perfectly easy for small hands to grasp and manipulate. This aspect is crucial for younger children as it fosters fine motor skills and tactile exploration. What intrigued us—and delighted our daughter—was the ability of the balls to change shape and stick together, allowing her to create her own designs effortlessly. It seems almost magical how they adhere, sparking not only her imagination but also her problem-solving skills. The gentle nature of play that these balls encourage is ideal for quieter evening activities. They help in winding down before bed, offering a calming yet engaging activity that doesn't overstimulate her, which is a common concern with many of today's toys.Overall, our daughter thoroughly enjoys playing with these magic balls. They serve as a fantastic tool for creative play that is both peaceful and developmental. The simplicity and functionality of the balls make them a hit, not just with her, but also with us as parents looking for suitable play options for our child.
4.0 out of 5 stars Colourful and engaging fidget toy, a bit stiff to manoeuvre.
The Thyonta children's sensory development, stress, anxiety, rainbow ball manipulation fidget toy, is a delightful and engaging toy that promotes focus and sensory exploration. My child loves the vibrant colours and the ability to twist the balls into various shapes and patterns, which keeps them entertained while also helping to relieve stress. It’s a great educational gift, encouraging fine motor skills and cognitive development. However, I wish the movement was a little smoother, as it is quite stiff to move and better instructions to create the different shapes would be welcomed! Overall, it's a fantastic fidget toy and a wonderful way to foster creativity and learning in children.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good fidget toy
This is an attractive, safe and - for children on the spectrum - somewhat effective toy. The balls are colourful and easy to handle, and the way they change shape and adhere to each other is interesting enough to hold the attention and calm the nerves. I would say suitable for 3 years up.
3.0 out of 5 stars Dissappointing - A lot smaller than the hand image on advert
These are okay, nice and bright and can be fidgeted with. The down side is they are alot smaller then they look on the advert (see pic) - no way is it going to stand a phone in either! It is easy to manipulate and make a few different shapes but not quite as cool as it looked on advert.
5.0 out of 5 stars A great fidget toy
I love the feel of these, and spent some time manipulating the balls into different shapes. Suggestions of patterns to make are given on the box, but I was just content to do my own thing. They were quite stiff to start with, and I would suggest an adult or older child plays with it before giving it to a small child. Age guide is 3+.
5.0 out of 5 stars pocket sized and fabulous colours
This is a great silent fidget toy. Form various shapes, then try get it back to flat again.Recommended.
4.0 out of 5 stars Limited play
I gave this to our 12 yr old grandson who is on the spectrum. He loves puzzles and 'fiddly' things. He stares at a Rubik cube for a while, computing how many times it must be turned in this way and that and then proceeds to 'solve' it without looking at it any more.He liked this Rainbow stress toy and played with it for a while, turning it every which way and then calmly replaced it in its box - (I know right! I tried too)It is fascinating to watch him with new puzzles. But sadly, he hasn't picked this one up again. It's not really a toy as such and even adults might like to 'fiddle' with it. I did for a while too
5.0 out of 5 stars Good for all ages
I have one of these fidget toys on my desk at home so this will be going to the office. It is so well made that you don't see what connects it. It is flexible to create various shapes, is easy to hold and fidget with, safe and colourful - not just for children although I would not hesitate giving these to younger ones. Ideal for gifting, and priced at £5.99 at the time of this review - 5*
