    This was bought as a gift for a family member. They say it works great, and seems to keep the foxes away, and most of the cats aswell, but did say that she might need another due to the length of her garden, so I'll get her another in near future

    Unit came with batteries, placed it near, where cat had done it's business. NO more cats. Been monitoring area daily. Seems to have done the trick. Value for money.

    I was a bit dubious about buying this as in the past a lot of cat scareres were just useless but this one actually does work I have had mine in the front garden for about a month now and there has been no cat mess at all but according to my wife and other females in my life they can hear the high pitched noise coming from it , I can't hear it so maybe it could repell woman 😅joking aside it was a worthy purchase and I'm thinking about getting another one for the back garden even though I don't get cat mess there I still get them roaming around the garden on occasions and yes I am not a cat lover and don't see why I should have to clean up somebody else's pets disgusting mess

    Only makes a sound initially when switching on. Either battery can't hold enough charge to keep working (even on consecutive bright sunny days) or something faulty with detector/switch
