Eight year old George - very bright with a reading age of 12+ was instantly enthralled, and thought that this was a great present from Uncle William. Uncle W. (me) had bought it second-hand for a little less than £4. I think that the full price for a new copy would have been somewhat excessive, but on the other hand keeping an eight year old quiet is a valuable commodity. However, he didn't stay quiet for long, and we had to listen to interesting facts for the rest of the afternoon (but we were in a pub garden, so it wasn't too much of a burden).

I got this book for my 7 year son. He is loving the facts he’s learning from the book. He sometimes find some aspects boring and so always in a hurry to move on to something else. In general he’s learning a lot from this book and will recommend it.

I’m a big reader and a bit of a nerd and I get tired of buying toys for my grandkids. My 9 yo grandson is enjoying this book. His dad said he’s reducing his iPad time so this was good timing. I also got him some Roblox bucks so he doesn’t hate me lol.
