    When I first started using these products, they were that good that even the neighbours could detect them, my wife was so annoyed that she would turn them off when in the area. The best thing was...cats seemed to disappear.Now they both are dead ...seems the batry/solar panel are/have expired..Value for money = zero.9 months use...a waste of time.NOT RECOMENDEDUNABLE TO GIVE ZERO STARS.

    Only used it today. Everything works as it should. Better product than the last one I purchase. Only time will tell if it keeps the garden pest away.

    The product itself is very solid, The only concern I had was that I did not read about how far the beam went, as I live in a small WA bungalow, we only have small front gardens. The problem was just where my conifer tree was at night a large cat would dig a hole under the tree and leave his calling card. The bungalows are joined together and both sides of me have dogs, Well joining together, the neighbours discussed where it should go, hopefully we have got it right,. Watch this space.

    I bought this to deter the numerous cats that use our daughter's garden as a latrine. The description indicates that the sound it produces is inaudible to the human ear and that it is triggered by the movement of animals. I am a senior citizen and spent much of my early career in the Royal Artillery. I would expect some degree of hearing loss especially at higher frequencies, especially as I suffer from tinnitus. Nonetheless I can hear the sound this gadget produces clearly. I can confirm it is deeply irritating. I can also confirm that any movement triggers the sound, human or animal. It works to deter cats, but one must be prepared to live with the high pitched sound each time one walks into its range.
