    I have a number of wireless microphone systems including Sennheiser G3, Rode Wireless Go 1 & II and DJI variants and unfortunately all of their receivers are too large / heavy to ideally use with a small smartphone gimbalTo be frank at this price point, I thought that the MOVO devices were worth a punt, but my expectations were not high.Both of the MOVO transmitters can be recharged via a supplied USB-A to USB-C cable, though you will need to supply a suitable phone type charger. The receiver does not have a battery and is powered directly from the iPhone's Lightning port. So there's one less thing to charge, but there is a slightly higher drain on the iPhone's battery. Intriguingly the MOVO receiver has a USB-C socket through which you can charge the iPhone!!!Pairing is instant, simply plug-in the receiver to the iPhone's lightning port and the receiver's blue LED will start flashing, meaning that its not connected to any microphone. Press a MOVO transmitter's power button for two seconds and both the blue lights on the transmitter and receiver will be switched on and steady. Simply fire-up your iPhone's camera App, switch to video and start recording.The MOVO transmitter can be 'muted', simply press the power button once and briefly. The transmitter's LED will flash at a frequency of once per second. Press again, briefly and once, to unmute.The Movo transmitter also has a noise reduction setting. Press the transmitter power button briefly and twice. The transmitter's LED will flash once every three seconds. Press the transmitter button briefly twice, to switch the noise reduction setting. That said, whatever the noise reduction does and whether its on or off initial power-on, I could not detect what it was doing. Background room noise seemed identical in volume, as did my voice. I tried to see if there was any low frequency filtering roll-off, but couldn't detect that either. Should I find anything in the future, I'll update the review.The sound quality was more than good, with the transmitter clipped onto my shirt. I cannot comment on battery life other than that based on other reviews, where I would be wary of MOVO's 10 hour claim. In similar vain, in order to playback the sound of recordings on the iPhone, you need to disconnect the receiver from the iPhone's lightning connector. There doesn't seem to be any way around this, as even a pair of Airpod Pros do not work around the feature.If I were to give one criticism, it would be that the supplied foam microphone covers are complete rubbish and if used will most likely get lost in seconds.Overall, if you use an iPhone for filming or blogging, with or without a gimbal, these MOVO WIRELESS MINI-DI DUO devices work a treat for many purposes and offer an outstanding price vs performance ratio.

    Used Bolo return service......worked well bit awkward coming from Ireland as had to fill out another customs and I didn't get a tracking no so no idea where it was. Took about 10 days to get from ireland to UK and refund then done

    Want to up your cellphone audio game? These are perfect for actors that need better audio for their self tapes and content creators.I record most of my self tapes with my iPhone. It’s easier. And before I discovered these I tried various different things to record sound. Some worked fine, but were just a hassle and weren’t as plug and play as I’d like.These work great, come with two mics and one receiver. Simply plug the receiver into your phone and it’ll auto connect to the microphones. It picks up your voice really well and can be concealed fairly easily. It charges with a USB-C which it comes with.Only thing I wish is that it had connection for a 3.5mm mic hook up such as a lav or mini shotgun mic. But honestly for the price you can’t beat it, and I’m just being nit picky.This is great for content creators, cellphone filmmakers and documentarians, and for actors in need of a decent cellphone mic for self tapes and auditions.Definitely worth it in my honest opinion.

    I used the Movo for recording my youtube videos. It worked like a charm outside when recording with the dogs, horses and while I was doing some fencing. Great value thank you Movo.

    Excellent sound. I had my daughter use the mic as she talked to me from another room and the sound was crystal clear. The mics came charged and the setup was as easy as clicking a button and waiting for it to turn blue before plugging in. Very happy with my purchase.

    I'm using these all the time now, along with my RODE GO II's. These are just so much easier and faster. Grab a phone, stick these in and on, and go. Only downside....and it's super tiny...is that the mic's aren't quite full enough in the mid to lower range. But...eq, easily fixes that. And if you do nothing with EQ they're still fine.
