    The monitor emits a skipping beat which is audible to humans and the cats just walk past it to climb the tree next to the unit. I thought at first that this worked as hadn't seen cats for a while but now that I am working from home I see them parade past my window, triggering the monitor but completely undeterred. Really disappointed as this was expensive.

    I only just installed it, and it is doing the job already. Scared off two cats so far.Was expecting it to be quiet but still audible to human.So far, so good. Can't complain for now.

    Terrible item! It just had a constant irritating sound which I know is the point to keep cats etc away, but not only did it not do that, it also keeps you awake at night as it’s too loud!
