Vallejo was incorporated in the state of New Jersey, USA in the fall of 1965. In the early years he specialized in the manufacture of acrylic colors for cartoons. In 1981, Vallejo developed the Acrylic Studio color range. The aim of this range of colors is to provide artists with an optimal quality range of acrylic colors, with pigments selected depending on their maximum permanence.

In 1986 we presented the first range of acrylic colors for airbrushing. At the beginning of the next decade we formulated the first series of specific colors for fans of Modelling and Decorative Arts.

Our company continues to be family in nature, Amadeo Vallejo oversees the development of new products with the support of our technical department in charge of research and development. We continue to elaborate our colors in small batches with the same philosophy "to improve the qualities of our colors to continue offering all artists products of exceptional quality".

Vallejo elaborates its color ranges for artists with selected pigments based on their maximum stability and resistance to light scattered in 100% acrylic resins, with specific formulations for use in all types of techniques and are complemented by a large selection of auxiliary mediums, acrylic inks and calligraphy, colors for airbrushing and liquid watercolors.

Liquid Gold is a range of metallic colors for fine arts, restoration and crafts. Its formulation offers exceptional gilding, and absolute permanence in light. Liquid Gold contains metal pigments based on alcohol, and maintains a genuine and long-lasting shine. Colors should be shaken well before use. If you need to dilute the paint, please use only 96º alcohol to avoid oxidation. Liquid Gold cannot be mixed with water as metal pigments oxidize if they come into contact with water.
