This little cloth-bound copy of 'Romeo & Juliet' definitely has it's charms. Despite the books size, the text itself isn't a struggle to read at all, no need for squinting! The book comes complete with it's own equally miniature dust jacket to protect the covers of the book from scuffing. The book itself is a maroon cloth, with it's only decorative feature being the small indentation of a sailing ship on the front cover. It's size makes it perfect for those who don't have the room or money to have large collections of fine edition books (Easton Press & Folio Society), yet still want that classic 19th century appearance to their books. Another positive that comes from the books size is that rather than lugging your average sized book around with you when you go to your work/university/coffee shop, (which inevitably leaves the book scuffed)you can simply slide this copy into your jacket or trouser pocket and carry on with your day with minimal risk of damage. Overall very pleased; looks great as part of a set, economical choice, handy size. 10/10P.S. Makes an excellent small gift, an out of the blue token of affection for your significant other!

I've recently taken an interest in William Shakespeare's plays and was particularly interested to read "Romeo and Juliet". I thoroughly enjoyed this book and felt I got good value for my money as this particular Kindle edition was in top condition.I recently watched the film "William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet" starring Leonard DiCaprio and Clare Danes which is a modern adaptation of the story. I enjoyed that and that also gave me the notion to read it and I'm glad I did. It was fantastic and in my opinion it's the greatest love story that's ever been written. I look forward to reading more Shakespeare plays in the future.

This was truly tragic. Their love was so short-lived and hate was the riding force for almost everyone around them. A fight was almost always happening be it verbal or physical. Their love was the only thing that provided some semblance of warmth but was so easily snuffed out. Ancient grudges could not allow anyone to move forward but their death and the circumstances around it made for U think a satisfying end.

This is a beautifully illustrated book which is ideally suited or children from years 4. It combines original Shakespearian language e with modern text. It gives the reader a good over view of the plot of the play and is ideal for younger readers that woulds find the original text too difficult to understand. I bought this book personally for the wonderful illustration as to me this was what attracted me to the book and just wanted to own this book as it is a beautiful object to own. Would highly recommend this book.

Good quality for price - just needed something I could write in for teaching R&J! Wouldn't recommend this addition for student use as it doesn't come with helpful side notes/explanations, but for my purposes this was great.
